Description
Our farm is located in the beautyful hills in the "border triangle" of Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, where we are creating a Center for Art, Nature and Awarness. We run our small organic farm with an engaged commitment to renaturation. On the one hand, this means giving nature and its self-healing powers more space, and on the other hand, it can also mean working intensively and with effort to support diversity.
Would you like to join in and help to shape the outdoor area, mow lawns, work in the garden, harvest and carry out renaturation measures on a stream and a former fish pond? You will have many opportunities to learn and get in touch with nature, work in the orchard and in our organic garden. There are also possibilities for creative and craft activities such as upcycling furniture and preparing the project house house and studio for upcoming projects.
We are looking forward to coming into contact with reliable people who are interested in treating others and nature with respect and kindness and who enjoy getting hands-on and perhaps breaking a sweat or getting muddy while working.
It would be great, if you are a dedicated and motivated person who wants to contribute skills and you are not afraid of physically demanding work, and—ideally—have some experience working with and in nature and agriculture.
We are well networked with biologists, organic farmers, artists and inovative projects in the region and have a lot of nice and interesting visitors.
About us:
we run our farm since more than 30years. I am an artist, art therapist, art educator and meditation teacher and I am leading courses at this topics in Austria and abroad. For more many years I have been leading the project PAS at the University of Vienna with the aim to bring mindfulness and self-care into the education system.
My husband is an architect and very interested in sustainable architecture and also in handicraft, organic farming and renaturation. -

Help
In the organic garden, on the meadows and in the forest there is always work to do and to learn from each other, planting, harvesting, preparing compost, mowing the meadows, woodwork. There are always new ideas for design or necessary work and upcycling + DIY . Also tools and machines have to to be serviced. May be you are interested in shaping the outdoor space, to plant bushes and trees and constructing fences in a natural way. Renaturalising the pond, floodplain and forest is a wonderful project of a nice community of friends and guests.
When cooking (VEGETARIAN) helping hands are wellcome and kitchen needs to be cleaned afterwards with your help, which is a part of living together that goes without saying.
We are interested in getting in touch with engaged people who are concerned about a mindful and benevolent interaction with others and nature in general. We are looking forward to coming into contact with reliable people who are interested in treating others and nature with respect and kindness and who enjoy getting hands-on and perhaps breaking a sweat or getting muddy while working.
We expect our guests to be mindful of sustainable use and to treat our lovingly renovated house and our area with care. -

Accommodation
There are various accommodation options: nice rooms in the newly renovated project house on the hill above our house, as well as a small one-room wooden house near the garden.
There is also space for a camper van.
Staying in the wooden houses or in your van, you can use one of the shared bathrooms in the house on the hill. -
What else ...
The southeastern part of Austria is climatically very preferred and very fertile and beautiful. This borderland became a new home for many inovative people and artists. You can meet interesting people and learn about exciting projects, cycle and hike through the beautiful countryside and discover this region, visit old castles or a chocolate factory :)
For those who arrive by public traffic: Fehring is easily accessible by train, both from Vienna (3 hours) and from Graz (1 hour). We will pick you up from Fehring train station (approx. 6 km away). We can provide bicycles during your stay -

every morning (and some times on the afternoon) you work in the garden and after a nice lunch you have a lot of time for yourself, and they can also show you around ☺️
