Looking for Artists painters muralists musicians or people who want to be a part of my pirate gang arrgggh matey! and people who can help work on my sailboat it needs repair a 27 ft. Catalina. My names michael . I've been living on a sailboat with my two pitbull mastiffs for the last 6 years anchored out in richardson bay. I'm 99% vegetarian eat meat maybe once a month. I play music do art and like building stuff. This last year I inherited a floating home houseboat made of redwood on a cement concrete barge hull here in sausalito california. The houseboat is a art studio that has been on richardson bay for many decades. It needs alot of work to bring this houseboat back up to I am looking for volunteers who enjoy being on boats and who can handle working and living on boats . Water has to be brought to the boat and i use solar panels for electricity to have lights and charging cellphones. . The boats here are held with anchors and chain and rope in the bay so a ride on my inflatable motorboat is how you will reach the boat and essentially you would be stranded on a boat completely surrounded by water While I'm away. There will be an extra canoe in case of an emergency or if you want to go for a paddle around the bay with a lifejacket on! Cleaning and art projects will be majority of help but there will be many other types of projects as well.. Beautiful views and a colorful community of pirates and mariners are waiting for you here. Seabirds and seaanimals will be a normal sight as well. 420 friendly

Sausalitos waterfront culture is rich with a history of artists and great minds who have helped shape modern american culture. Originally sausalito was a Portuguese fishing town and over the years went from war ship manufacturing town into an aquatic waterfront bohemian paradise for mariners and builders/artists. The houseboat that is available to live in is "anchored out" which means surrounded by water being help by anchors and chain and rope which people have been living like here since before the first house was built here in sausalito. The boat belonged to an artist that help start the sausalito art festival which is world renowned. Experience the art culture and the salty mariner culture here in sausalito.
Helping secure lines and anchors. Rebulding broken or damaged sections of the houseboat with redwood screws and nails. Using a hand saw. Mopping sweeping the decks and floors. Artists can paint murals on the houseboat inside and out. If good musician you can help record music or help practice plahing. Techsavy people can create social media pages and posts that help promote anchorage preservation and improve communication in the local community. There are 2 cats on board that require food and water and litter box changing. Pet pigeons are on board as well with babies.

Sausalito is near many sights and landmarks. Hiking trails are incredible. Restaurants are very fancy, public transportation makes any bay area city very accessible from sausalito including the ferry which travels to sf oakland and other cities.
