Hi, We are a flourishing family of 6! Two girls and A super cute 3yr old boy and a new baby.
We live in a wild crazy recovering rainforest jungle (in town) that we are clearing and have built a big shed.
Our town is "The Village in the Rainforest", Kuranda in FNQ. It is very green, lush, funky and fun. With wild rivers, world heritage rainforest and a vibrant town of cafes and markets.

This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
A fair dinkum Aussie wet tropics rainforest experience, connection with nature, simple back to basics living, cultural immersion in a large family, and the chance to experience the local side of Kuranda when the last bus and the skyrail leaves town.
We are in creation mode on our block and would love some help with starting gardens, fixing up a caravan for future accomodation, building with recycled materials, weeding, regenerating and cleaning up the creek, family life cooking, cleaning and juggling babies/toddlers.
Any skills you have to share would be very much appreciated.
Our living is simple and down to earth, at this stage we can offer a single person a space in our open plan shed or we can set up a rustic bush camp for a couple to go "glamping" (glamorous camping) ;) with a rainforest bathroom.
Although the living is simple we have mod cons : power (woo hoo!) unlimited wifi, hot water showers under the stars, and a 10-15 min walk into town.
Kuranda village and Baron Falls a short walk away. National parks and swimming holes a short drive. Cairns city 40 mins drive
We are pretty easy going, and try to keep a calm positive family vibe happening. We Look forward to sharing it with you and hearing your travelling tales.
