2020 update
Hello everyone!
This farm is working homestead that always needs more help than my wife and I can give it!
In our early 20's we started this homestead from "scratch" meaning no structures or fields, just from the wasteland of post logging operation.
6 years later we are finishing our dwellings and developing sophisticated systems of feeding ourselves and caring for our ecosystem.
I can write forever on what to expect, but each year, each month, has different chores, projects, and unique opportunities.
Our home is where we live all year and 20 meters up the hill is our cabin, which hosts up to two guests in any season. We also have a nice tent platform besides the cabin for may-oct. Running water in both structures, gas oven and stove tops, nice shower and toilet (in main home), auxiliary outhouses.
Amazing food opportunities are available all year. Highest quality meat and eggs from our livestock and hunted as well as season's fresh ingredients. Our dry bulk products are procured organically though a local co-op.
We are both skilled chefs and love to cook with (not for) people! Our kitchens are open to our guests and we promote eating together when possible while also letting everyone have the freedom and privacy to feed themselves on their own schedule. Most people are pickier about eating than they think, so we promote bringing a stash of your own snacks and ingredients, if you don't think we already produce them on our farm.
Please email about what on farm and off farm chores are currently to be expected.
depending on the season and amount of farm help, your experience can vary. We both work on-farm and off-farm. We provide composting service for local restaurants, prune orchards, install gardens for community members, and pick up carpentry gigs when available. So, sometimes the farm is all yours and sometimes we are all there!
Someone who feels comfortable out in nature, without good cell reception or wifi is a must!
Being able to work peacefully by yourself with plants and animals is a must. Usually there is 1-4 farm helpers other than us.
We love the international group atmosphere our farm gets from may-oct! as much as we love the group atmosphere we enjoy our peace and privacy and only get bothered when people talk to much, don't leave us room to be a couple, do not do their share or cooking and cleaning, We cherish the opportunity we provide to people as a once and a lifetime adventure.
Please send us some information about you. We are looking for commitments of around 1 month to 6 months. Thanks! Matt and Krystyna.

SWIMMING RIVERS, MNTS., GOOD RESTAURANTS, EASY BUS TO NEW YORK CITY , BOSTON, MONTREAL
We are located right next to the Appalachian trail, the groomed snow trail system (VAST), many fishing holes, amazing hunting and foraging, and refreshing swimming spots (with a bold 25 ft bridge jump!) of the White River. That is all just on our dirt road! To learn more about the Upper Valley and what the Green Mountains and While Mountains have to offer do a little research, there are too many things to list.
Our lives follow the cycles of the seasons and therefore what we are up to vastly depends on the time of year.
