  We are Akanksha, Sven and Mira and live in the Eco village.
  
  Welcome to our community!
  
  We are a family of three passionate about culture, food, music, natural living and sharing stories. Akanksha is from Bangalore, India, Sven from Merano, South Tirol and our 3 year old daughter Mira is our new addition to the family. We live in a picturesque eco-village in Tuscany, close to Anghiari, immersed in nature, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a serene atmosphere. Our mission is to build a creative paradise, designed consciously in a permaculture way and where people from all over the world can meet, learn and grow together.
  
  We are currently looking for two motivated and passionate people who want to join us for a Workaway experience on our farm. We offer a wide variety of experiences, from gardening to animal care, from helping around the house to participating in creative and sustainable projects. We believe in the value of cultural exchange and the importance of building authentic relationships based on respect and collaboration.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We have incredible opportunities for cultural exchange. We live in a vibrant eco village, which has daily aperitivos in the evening where a bunch of youngsters come together for a chat, beer and snacks. Everyone in the community is hands on and has much to offer in terms of expanding skills in their off time. The medieval town close to us called Anghiari is a sweet tourist destination and packed with activities all year round.

  Help with permaculture farm, create interconnected natural ponds and terraces with fruit trees. Help on interiors and decorate a small stone house in the garden, into a tiny house.
  Help in the garden, growing fresh and organic vegetables.

  Accommodation

  We have two different options of stay. You will either stay in a lovely Yurt surrounded by nature and a small river next to it, or in the 2 person guest bedroom with us in our restored Tuscan house. The yurt can sleep 2-4 people, and has a small kitchen, compost toilet and an outdoor shower. The stay will depend on the duration of stay and type of work you will be doing here. We are a vegetarian household and our specialty is cooking Indian and Italian cousin. On the other hand we love turning fruits and veggies from our garden into jars for our pantry, like pesto out of almost everything, marmalade, dried fruits, frozen blackberries, homemade ketchup, kombucha and other ferments...

  There is wifi in the house and since we live in the middle of a forest, a form of transportation is required to get to town, which is ten mins by car.
  We can coordinate town visits together or hitch a ride with one of the people from the community.
