    Description

We are an Irish homeschooling family of seven, living and farming a 120 acre dairy farm in West Cork close to the town of Dunmanway. We are a young, creative family, a stylist and a farmer with 5 children ages 12, 11, 7 and 5 and 9 months.

We are very passionate about organic food, sustainable living and homeschooling so it is important for us to find someone with similar interests. We are looking for either a single person, couple or even a family to come and join our vibrant family life. Initiative, imagination and confidence come in handy here. We can offer a relaxed, creative and positive environment. We have had many people from all over the world come live with us over the years and have made many beautiful friendships. Our children love crafts, music, painting and nature/outdoor explorations of all kind, especially late night fires around the playhouse. We live on a farm so have acres of woodland and pastures to roam. We are very easygoing and relaxed sort of people.

If we sound like your kind of folk please send us a message so we can talk a little more.

We are so very willing to exchange with you and will give you a warm welcome here on our farm. We live a simple life in a rural area surrounded by nature and animals. We do our daily tasks and enjoy living together with people from all around the world. You will be able to see how we parent and homeschool, through natural learning. I am also dying fabrics with botanical dyes which we turn into children garments and I am a potter, Yoga teacher [ in training ] and a Family Constellation Facilitator and I am very happy to share all this with you.

    Help

We need some help with the kids, cooking, planting, the vegetable garden and polytunnel, some animal feeding and care. We are also open to an exchange of skills, perhaps languages or music. Our children play music, piano, guitar, ukulele and violin but we don't - so we always love having musicians come and stay with us.

We have a little house available for you to stay in next to ours with glorious views towards Sheha Mountain and Nowen Hill. There is a nice woodburner for the winter months to keep you warm. We cook everyday, but there is also a kitchen in your house. There are also some bikes here should you want to take off on a tour or there are buses from Dunmanway town a 10 minute drive away.
