    Description

Hello! My name is Diego, and I was born and raised in the beautiful highlands near Cotopaxi. I am a proud native of Santa Ana del Pedregal, the last town before reaching this majestic volcano. My love for tourism started in childhood when my parents worked at the Cotopaxi Refuge. My father, Pedro, dreamed of building a mountain lodge in this area, but he passed away before making it a reality. I took it upon myself to fulfill his dream, and with the support of my wife and two children, we made it happen.

After five years of dedication, overcoming financial challenges and the pandemic, our lodge now stands as a welcoming space for travelers and nature lovers. We are deeply committed to sustainability, working hard to minimize our impact on the environment through eco-friendly practices. We also support the local community by sourcing fresh produce, meat, and dairy from nearby farmers.

We are looking for enthusiastic Workawayers to help my local team in the lodge! Tasks include welcoming guests, assisting with daily operations, and contributing to our sustainability efforts. In return, you'll experience the breathtaking landscapes of Cotopaxi, immerse yourself in the local culture, and be part of a meaningful project.

If you love nature, adventure, and authentic cultural experiences, we’d love to have you on board!
