    Description

Howdy all! I am Chiara and me and my friend Adam are looking for individuals to be a part of creating a beautiful oasis. The project started a year and a half ago when Adam moved back to Morocco and already there is a harmonious mix of animals and plants. There are Papayas, Mangoes, Pomegranates, Figs, Passion fruit, Bananas, Dragon fruits, Corn, Tomatoes, Courgettes and much more already growing.

Adam is a motorbike mechanic by trade and skilful in art, music, building and fixing pretty much anything. I am still in the UK working in engineering with the hopes to save up for some motorcross bikes and equipment and I visit when I can. In the meantime I am trying to organise the online aspects while Adam is busy with the land. One future project of ours is to set up a motocross touring company to take riders across the incredible landscape to camp and explore. We also want to set up a hostel for likeminded people to get to know the region and relax with all of the beautiful animals and fresh, natural food . We are adamant, like every project on here, to not use any fertilisers or poisons that modern society enforces on populations. The ancient ways are far more efficient.

    Other future projects include:
Setting up a forge, recycling metal, Making tools
    Making biofuel
    Herbal medicines, distillation, homeopathy
Exotic fruit, fruit and more fruit!
    Making paper/leather
Horse riding excursions through the mountains, setting up checkpoints with supplies for camping
Natural paints and dyes from rocks and plants
    Long term preservation of food
Anything you can think of! Let's do it

If society is not for you then this place probably is. Ultimately we would like to offer an exchange of skills and a shared experience in creating something that goes against the modern demise of everything natural. We hope to find people who want to learn and have skills to offer as there are infinite opportunities available to be a part of, whether it be for a couple weeks or months, there is a place here for people with a love of nature.

There are plenty of hikes in the mountains and local villages to visit, where they make their own wool and carpets from the sheep they keep. All food is grown locally and the region is traditional in Berber culture. Learn the language Diriya or Berber, the local building techniques- mainly mud, rocks and hay, and the anti Atlas range just south of the land (An hours walk) is full of ancient forts!

  • Help

    Help

There are many areas to exchange ideas and skills.
Mainly, there are animals to feed, give water and health care to. Currently on the land there is Nibbles the horse, Donkey- the donkey:), Screech the cat, Vira the food police dog, Kuja her son and a baby German Shepard, peacocks, ducks, Chickens, Rabbits and thousands of frogs. In the near future we would like sheep, goats, ostriches and many more but a helping hand to build animal enclosures and facilities is much needed.
Any general construction and landscaping projects- as creative as you want using the materials around.
General help with cooking, cleaning would be appreciated alongside help with harvesting and preserving food.
Food will be provided/paid for, often requiring accompaniment to go to the market or the shop for supplies and help with cooking would be appreciated.
