    Description

    (1–2 weeks stay)

Hi! We’re a young couple of locals (28) starting our permaculture project in the countryside, 2 hours away from Buenos Aires 🇦🇷
We speak fluent Spanish, English and French.

We’ve lived in Australia and New Zealand, love traveling, and now we’re building something beautiful here — and we’d love to share it with the right people.

We’ve always wanted to start our own permaculture project with a veggie garden, food forest, chickens — and now it’s finally starting to happen. Note the veggie garden is not fully ready (April 2nd), nor the food forest. Be part of the very beginning 🌱

    💛 What makes this special:
We’re not just hosts — we want to create a shared experience, not just a volunteering stay. If you're looking to connect, experience Argentinian culture, learn about permaculture, and live something real, this is for you.

    📍 The location:
It’s a beautiful countryside farm club 2 hours from Buenos Aires.
You’ll have a private room (or shared if you come as a couple or friends), private bathroom, and 3 meals a day — including local food like homemade empanadas, Argentinian asado, and more.

    About us:
Maria: I love crochet and crafts, a good gin & tonic, and movie nights. I usually do movie nights, you are welcome to join!
Chris: I like fitness. I do calisthenics, yoga, running. I also meditate
We do bond fires, cook together, share meals, so we are looking for friendly people.

The place is very scenic, if you like nature, it’s paradise.
There’s a pool, WiFi, and hot water.
In your free time, you can walk or run along scenic horse trails, lagoons, and parks. If you're lucky, you’ll spot local wildlife — ñandúes, foxes, armadillos, and lots of birds 🦊🦃
You can also play board games, watch movies, cook something from your country, or simply relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We really value the cultural exchange side of this experience.

We love sharing our daily life with the people who stay with us — cooking together, having long dinners, playing board games, watching movies, listening to music, and simply spending time together. We’re not looking for people who want to stay isolated, but rather those who enjoy connecting and being part of a shared experience.

You’ll get to experience Argentine culture in a very authentic way: homemade food, traditional recipes, weekly asado, and the rhythm of countryside life. We’re also happy to share what we’re learning about permaculture, gardening, and building our project from scratch.

At the same time, we love learning from others — your culture, your food, your stories, your way of seeing life. We really enjoy when volunteers cook something from their country or share their experiences from traveling.

Our goal is that you don’t feel like a worker, but like a friend visiting and being part of something meaningful.

  • Help

    Help

    🛠 Help needed (3–4h/day, 5 days/week):
    • Gardening & permaculture tasks
    • Planting, sowing, watering, and tasks related to the garden
    • Collecting wood
    • Light construction, fixing or improving things
    • Painting or small building projects
    • Weeding and general outdoor maintenance
    • Cooking or helping in the kitchen
    • Occasional Cleaning
    • General help with whatever is needed at the time

Apart from those 3-4 hours, we all share the communal tasks like cooking, doing dishes, tidying the kitchen up, setting the table, etc etc. So add those minutes of extra responsibilities we all do together and rotate every day for every meal. Even on days off.
If there's any cleaning tasks apart from what I mentioned here, that will count on the 3-4 working hours and it won't be most days. The volunteering is based on the permaculture project, not on house chores... This happens more on bad weather days when nothing else can be done.

The work is simple but can be physical. We try to match tasks with what you enjoy and what needs to be done.

    ✨ We’re looking for:
    • A couple or 2 friends (everyone welcome 🏳️‍🌈)
    • Sociable, open-minded people happy to share daily life
    • Available for 1–2 weeks
    • Vegans/vegetarians/allergies, all welcome. Just let us know beforehand!

⚠️ A few important things to know:
    • We don't charge you anything. You will have to pay something to get here, but not to us. And as I already mention later on, you can get groceries for yourself for anything extra that's not included.
    • We value cleanliness, respect, and shared responsibility. If this doesn’t match you, please don’t apply.
    • This is the countryside — occasional power outages can happen. Especially in storms. If you have online meetings everyday or need to upload content every single day, wifi may come down at some point in your stay.
    • Please bring personal essentials (toiletries, medication, etc.) since going to town to get them is a long way. We do weekly runs to town, you are welcome to come to get anything you want for yourself!
    • We have an indoor cat — please make sure you're not allergic 🐱
    • We are non-smokers, but smoking is allowed outside. We are also 420 friendly — Chris might join you occasionally.

Send us a message and tell us about yourself ✨

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You’ll be staying in a comfortable and clean private room inside our home. With linen, blankets and towels.

If you come as a couple or with a friend, you can share the room — otherwise, you’ll have your own space. The bathroom can be private or shared depending on availability, but it is not the same one we use.

The house has WiFi, washing machine, hot water, electricity, and everything you need to feel comfortable. We also have a swimming pool that you’re welcome to use, especially in the warmer months. A shared TV, multiple common areas.

We provide 3 meals a day — usually two simple meals and a more elaborate dinner. You’ll get to try traditional Argentine food like homemade empanadas and a weekly asado 🔥 We’re also happy to adapt meals for vegetarians or vegans. Just let us know in advance.
On top of that, if you want to have anything special that’s not included (like sweet treats, any special milks, stuff for breakfast, drinks, snacks… anything) we go shopping once a week, at the beginning of your stay. You are welcome to come with us to get anything you want that’s not provided. You’ll have your own designated space — your groceries are yours, always.

The environment is peaceful, safe, and surrounded by nature — perfect if you enjoy quiet, fresh air, and disconnecting from the city while still having basic comforts.

We keep the house clean and organized, and we expect everyone to help maintain shared spaces tidy.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    🚗 Getting here:

If you are in Buenos Aires (around 2 hours away), there are private buses that can take you to the nearest town, where we’ll pick you up. It costs around 20 USD.

If you arrive at EZE international airport (about 1h40 away), we recommend taking an Uber directly to the property (around 60 USD).

You can also rent a car — it’s more expensive but gives you full freedom to explore the area and move around during your stay.

🏡 House rules (simple but important):

We keep a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, but we really value respect, cleanliness, and shared responsibility.

    • Wash your dishes after using them (we don’t clean up after each other)
    • If you use something, put it back where it belongs
    • Keep shared spaces clean and tidy
    • If something breaks, just let us know — no problem at all, we just like to be aware
    • No smoking inside (outside is totally fine)

    ✨ Important:
We’re looking for people who are proactive, respectful, and used to sharing spaces. If you need to be told what to do all the time or are not comfortable taking initiative, this might not be the right place for you.

We’re happy to share our home, but it works best when everyone contributes to keeping it a nice space to live in.

You can park the motorhome or camper outside but it’s just parking it outside. Other than that, there’s no plugs or anything adapted for campers, so you would stay in the house unless you are fully off grid and prefer to sleep in your camper! Up to you.
