  Description

  [EN] We are a family of three, Claudio (37), Marta (36) and Diego (10) and one dog (Pedro), two dwarf rabbits (Luna and Michi) and Micia, the cat. We live in a country house near the nature reserve of Mount Alpe. We eat healthy food, as much as possible produced from our garden which we cultivate with love and respect, mainly vegetarian and seasonal, and we make bread with sourdough and in a wood stove. We have one bee family in Warre hives. We collect wild fruits and nuts. We heat only with our firewood. Marta has a tailor shop (working with natural origin fabrics and partly biological) and runs weaving and knitting courses but at the moment she is working like an English teacher in the schools. Claudio, the farmer, takes care of pruning and caring for the plants, is a street artist (holds juggling workshops), runs basket weaving courses and in his free time works with wood. Diego plays football, does athletics and is a big fan of the computing and the Japanese world - and currently is fascinated by the Rubik's Cube.
  
  [IT] Siamo una famiglia di tre persone, Claudio (37 anni), Marta (36) e Diego (10) più un cane (Pedro), due conigli nani (Luna e Michi) e una micia. Viviamo in una casa di campagna vicino alla riserva naturale di Monte dell'Alpe. Mangiamo cibo il più possibile prodotto nel nostro orto che coltiviamo con amore e rispetto, prevalentemente vegetariano e di stagione e ci facciamo il pane con pasta madre e forno a legna. Abbiamo una famiglia d'api in arnie Warré. Raccogliamo frutti selvatici e noci. Ci scaldiamo solo con legna che ci procuriamo da noi. Marta ha un laboratorio di sartoria (lavora con tessuti di origine naturale e in parte biologici) ma al momento sta lavorando come insegnante di inglese nelle scuole. Claudio è contadino, si occupa di potatura e cura delle piante, è artista di strada (tiene laboratori di giocoleria), tiene laboratori di cestineria e nel tempo libero lavora col legno. Diego gioca calcio, fa atletica ed è un grande appassionato del mondo dell'informatica e del giapponese - e ora è affascinato dal Cubo di Rubik.

  [EN] We will be very happy to share our culture and skills with travellers. Claudio is particularly skilful with everything involving farming, Marta is open to share her tailoring skills with those who are interested and Diego is excited to help people in the use of the computer and the videogame and also to teach travellers how to solve the Rubik's Cube. Besides this, since we live in a beautiful region surrounded by mounts and hills, travellers will have our help to explore the area, with us or by themselves.

Claudio è particolarmente abile con tutto ciò che riguarda l'agricoltura, Marta è aperta a condividere le sue capacità di sarta con chi sarà interessato e Diego sarà felice di aiutare le persone con computer e videogiochi e a risolvere il cubo di Rubik. a parte questo, dal momento che viviamo in un meraviglioso luogo circondato da montagne e colline, i viaggiatori avranno il nostro aiuto per esplorare il territorio, con noi o da soli.

  Help

  [EN] We are small family looking for people to share our space and our lives, therefore, we are not simply looking for workforce, but for new friends to become temporary family members. The tasks we mostly need help with are cooking, taking care of the kitchen garden, housecleaning once or twice a week and walking with the dog once a day. At the moment, we are finishing to build a greenhouse in glass, wood and raw earth and a rocket stove in earth and stones, so guests are invited to help us with these goals too. During the summer, we organize a few pizzate, in which we prepare dozens of pizzas (made with our flour and vegetables in the wood oven) for friends and friends of friends who come over.
  
  [IT] Siamo una piccola famiglia in cerca di persone con cui condividere il nostro spazio e le nostre vite, quindi non stiamo semplicemente cercando forza lavoro, ma nuovi amici che possano essere membri temporanei della nostra famiglia. I lavori per cui abbiamo più bisogno sono cucinare, prendersi cura dell'orto, pulire la casa una o due volte la settimana e fare una passeggiata con il cane una volta al giorno.   [EN] Our house is big, however, the type of accommodation will depend on the number of people in the house. In general, we do as much as possible to give people their own bedroom, so they have their privacy and space. The house has two bathrooms that are shared by everyone.
  
  Our diet is mostly vegetarian, prioritizing the consumption of vegetable protein. We try to also buy and consume biological food as much as possible, which we buy from local farmers and friends. Our cooking is simple and practical, but tasty. Feel more than invited to share the moments in the kitchen, cooking, eating and talking.

  [IT] La nostra casa è grande, ad ogni modo, il tipo di sistemazione dipenderà dal numero di persone presenti in casa. In generale, facciamo il possibile per dare ad ogni ospite la sua stanza, così che possa avere la sua privacy. La casa ha due bagni che sono condivisi da tutti.
  
  La nostra dieta è prevalentemente vegetariana, consumiamo preferibilmente proteine di origine vegetale. Cerchiamo di comprare e consumare cibo il più possibile biologico, reperendolo a km zero. La nostra cucina è semplice e pratica, ma saporita. Siete invitati a condividere i momenti in cucina, dal cucinare al mangiare a chiacchierare in compagnia.

  What else ...

  [EN] We live in the intersection of four Italian regions and provinces, so the distance to Genova, Piacenza, Milano and Alessandria are more or less the same, about 1,5 hour. The wonderful valley of the Trebbia river, a great place for long afternoons for waking and swimming, is also close to our house. Another interesting thing is that our village is close to the Via del Sale, an old road that connects the Oltrepò Pavese to the Ligurian Sea. The closest train station is in Voghera, which is 30 minutes away (we go there often and there's also a bus to and from there).
  
  [IT] Viviamo in una zona in cui si incontrano 4 regioni e province italiane, dunque la distanza da Genova, Piacenza, Milano e Alessandria è più o meno la stessa, circa un'ora e mezza. Sempre vicino a noi si trova la meravigliosa Valle del fiume Trebbia, un luogo perfetto per passeggiare e fare il bagno. Un altro aspetto interessante è che siamo molto vicini alla Via del Sale, un'antico percorso che collega l'Oltrepo' al mare della Liguria. La stazione ferroviaria più vicina è a Voghera, circa 30 minuti di distanza (noi andiamo spesso a Voghera e c'è anche un autobus che ci collega alla città).
