Uwe is an all-round painter, building biologist, adventure educator, scaffolder, roofer, natural building materials and vegan food trader, restaurateur and party manager, Uwe has now dedicated himself almost exclusively to the fairground business at medieval festivals. In his spare time, he enjoys playing petanque and occasionally the guitar. Sabine is a primary school teacher, likes sewing and organising clothes swaps, is committed to climate protection and enjoys helping with community-supported agriculture. So there will be no shortage of potential topics of conversation.
Whether it's manual help on the house, household chores, creating a website, gardening, motor vehicles or looking after the children's workshop, we will enquire about your experience and interests. Cultural exchange and the desire to meet new people are important.Projects involving children

Help
On market days we pay the minimum wage with free board and lodging. You can determine your own working hours. However, I would need your help for at least 4 hours per day for setting up and dismantling. In between you can visit the mostly historically interesting places, socialise with the travelling people of the medieval troupe or whatever else you can think of. Of course, you can also help out in our children's painting and craft workshop for a fee. As you will be registered with social security, you will of course need a work permit!’

Only Sabine speaks English and Spanish always goes with hands and feet ;-)Accommodation
When we are not travelling, we are preparing our move from our beautiful half-timbered house to the excitingly cultural Wendland. When travelling, you have your own tent or, if you prefer, a bed in an empty logistics trailer.
We eat a vegetarian diet and use organic products as much as possible. We are happy to prepare the two to three meals (depending on your interests) together with you and look forward to a culinary exchange.
Our household is meat- and smoke-free. However, this does not mean that you are not allowed to smoke outside the house or the van or that you can eat your own meat if you cannot do without it;-)What else ...
On our journey you will get to know exciting historical places again and again. When we are not travelling, we commute back and forth between the exciting Ruhr region and the tranquil, cultural Wendland
