Experience historical places and support our creative children's workshop while travelling through GExperience historical places and support our creative children's workshop while travelling through Germany

A varied everyday life awaits you with us! You will be on the road a lot with Uwe and get to know historical cities and beautiful markets throughout Germany. We run a creative painting and craft workshop for children and are regularly on the road at various markets.

During market hours, you will not only gain valuable experience, but also supplement your travel budget with the statutory minimum wage. Your tasks will include setting up and dismantling our stand – so you'll need to be able to lend a hand and carry heavy boxes. During opening hours, you'll help sell children's toys and craft materials, clean the tables and keep everything tidy and neat. As you'll have a lot of direct contact with families and children, you should already have a good command of German.

When we are not on tour, we live in a young farming community in the beautiful Wendland region. There is always something to do here – whether it's in the hemp maze, in the vegetable garden, feeding the goats, in the guest house or around the sawmill. It never gets boring here, and we are sure to find a task that suits your skills.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

During your time with us, your accommodation will vary depending on the season and location. At our farm in Wendland, you and other helpers will have access to several lovingly furnished guest houses – simple but cosy.

When we are on the road, you will sleep in a small tent or in our transport trailer with a door and window – a special way to travel! We usually sleep at campsites or on areas assigned by the organiser near the markets. This means that you should enjoy a simple life, as there is not always a daily shower or fixed comforts – we affectionately call it a medieval feeling 😉

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is also plenty to discover in your free time. Whether you are out and about or at home in Wendland, beautiful hikes, bike rides or simply a relaxing afternoon in nature are almost always possible. Since we are usually in particularly interesting places, it rarely gets boring.

If you need some peace and quiet in between, that's no problem either – we respect your needs and make sure that you can always find a place to retreat to.

An important part of our communal living is preparing and enjoying up to three meals a day together. We place great value on a vegetarian-vegan lifestyle, which you should respect during your stay. The kitchen is often the scene of lively exchanges about cultures, recipes and spices – a wonderful way to learn from each other.

It is also important to us that our home remains a healthy and safe place – hard drugs have no place here.
