    Description

We are a family of 7 and live on a 7 Acre property in the beautiful Hills suburb of Mundaring. We are: Grandad and Granny Jo (living in the house and building their granny flat). Granny Jo has early stages dementia and requires low level supervision.

MJ and Daniel - both musicians and teachers. Working 4 days each and raising their 3 gorgeous kids - a 5 year old girl, 4 year old girl and 3 year old boy. Beautiful, playful, well mannered. Low screen time household and advocates of Steiner/Waldorf education.

Mundaring is a lovely country town which has been embraced by the growing Perth metropolitan area. It is bursting with charm whilst still having every metro convenience. It is surrounded by regional and national parks and close by landmarks are the beautiful Lake Leschenaultia and the iconic Mundaring Weir.

Restaurant wise, look no further than the quintessential collonial era Aussie tavern. Mundaring Hotel, Mundaring Weir Hotel, Parkerville Taven, Mt Helena ... those are just a few. Cafe Mojo is must visit stop in town and there are no fewer than 3 bakeries providing delicious bread, pies and pastries for you to enjoy.

Other things to do locally are visit the Kookaburra outdoor cinema (the real deal!) the Perth Observatory and go hiking/cycling to your hearts content. Mundaring is only 15 minutes from Midland train station and there is a bus connection within walking distance from out house.
