Come and volunteer with us, we will be preparing the house for the summer season in June and then July and August will be a mix of working in the garden, house maintenance and cooking.

You'll be able to learn how to use raw materials to build, cook delicious vegetarian meals and get involved with various activities going on at the house like yoga, Qi gong, drumming, sweat lodges, you'll be given freedom to explore your imagination, we have an organic garden and fruit orchard. We are constantly starting fun little projects in our garden using natural materials from our land. In your free time you can go to the river just 10 minutes away to take a dip and bathe in the sun, hike in these wonderful mountains visiting the nearby monastery of St. Francis or the enchanted abandoned village both just over an hours walk away, or just chill and relax in one of our hammocks.

We are a family that hosts courses, workshops and seminars in our farmhouse situated in the Casentino national park in Tuscany. We are 1 hour from Arezzo and 1½ hour from Florence. Our house lies on a ridge of a mountain with no neighbours, just meadows and woods. Wildlife is plentiful, and hiking in these parts is magical, 10 minutes from the house lies a stream with waterfalls and rock pools one can bathe in. We have from ten to thirty guests coming for either long weekends or week courses and we have a three weeks teacher training in august. We cook for them three meals a day mainly organic and locally souced produce.

  • Accommodation

Either in a shared room in the house or in one of our beautiful bell tents, which have fully equipped beds in them and are placed in our naturally shaded campsite. We too sleep here when we have a lot of people, it's actually quite lovely.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Public transport, either a train from Arezzo or a bus from Florence, gets you as far as the nearest town Bibbiena and we would come and pick you up from there. In your free time you can go to the river for a swim, the local bar for a pizza and a drink, or just relax in one of our hammocks with a glass of wine perhaps. Also from the house the hiking options are limitless. The house lies on an ancient footpath that connects two important medieval monasteries, the walk to La Verna where St. Francis allegedly had his stigmata is only a 1½ hour long and takes you along ridges, through ancient woodlands to beautiful views of the valley.
