Description
Hello,
I’ve recently moved to Cairns, bought a home, and am in the process of settling in. I’ve enjoyed exploring the local areas, beaches, and islands—it’s such a beautiful place, and the people here are incredibly welcoming.
As a side note, I want to mention that I’m unable to assist with visa extensions. However, I’m offering an exchange: accommodation for a week or so in return for some help around the home.
If this sounds like something you’re interested in, feel free to reach out!
Best regards,

After 14 amazing years as an bnb host in LA, welcoming people from all walks of life, I’ve fallen in love with the vibrant culture of Cairns! 🌴 Every day here feels like a chance to grow, learn, and connect—whether it’s chatting about fascinating topics, exploring walking trails, or savoring the incredible forest-inspired, feel-good food.
With beaches nearby and free yoga classes to unwind, life here feels like a blend of adventure and serenity. Bonus: my love for books and storytelling fits right in with Cairns’ creative vibe. It’s a place to live, breathe, and embrace the world’s diversity.Help
Looking for a handy person (or two!) to help out with various tasks around a 3-bedroom, 90 sq. m. home on 943 sq. m. of land. Jobs include gardening, basic DIY—so knowing how to use a drill is a must and general knowledge about home Reno’s is important.
Occasionally, I might need help lifting heavier items, so some strength is appreciated. If you have any trade skills, that’s an added bonus! The house is 25 years old and recently bought, just needs a bit of final TLC. If two people come, tasks can be shared or divided. Let me know if you’re interested!Languages

I’m not an English teacher but I’m happy to engage with everyone..Accommodation
Looking for someone to share a 3-bedroom home. I provide a bedroom with a brand-new double bed and bedding, plus shared access to the bathroom (not modern but functional), a new kitchen, and a nice outdoor area.
If we cook and eat together, I’m happy to provide the ingredients. If you have specific dietary preferences, you’re welcome to cook for yourself, but those ingredients will be your responsibility. I’m flexible—cook and eat on your own schedule if you prefer! You’re also welcome to use anything from the fridge, freezer, or pantry.
The lounge room features a large TV for shared use, Wi-Fi is included, and there’s free parking available for a car or camper van. Let me know if you’re interested! What else ...
Cairns is full of hidden gems waiting to be discovered! 🌴 Did you know you can get a free sail on Friday nights by just adding your name to the list at the marina? From free events to the night markets with massages, unique cuisine, and shopping, there’s always something happening.
Feeling adventurous? Take a day trip to the islands for snorkeling or hop on a fishing or crocodile cruise. Kuranda is just 20 minutes away with its charming village markets and butterfly sanctuaries. And don’t forget Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation—perfect for day tours. Cairns truly has something for everyone!A little more information
