Description
🏡 Help Me Turn My New Melbourne House Into a Home
Female only.
I’m moving into a newly built four-bedroom home in Melbourne starting from after the 25th of September, and I’d love some help getting everything set up and making it feel like home. There’s plenty to do, from unpacking and organising to shopping for beds, a washing machine and household essentials, with a bit of cleaning and general setup along the way, as well as explore Melbourne city.
There’s also a garden to bring to life! 🌿 I’d love someone who enjoys being creative and getting their hands dirty - helping plan the front and back gardens, digging, planting and deciding how we can make the outdoor spaces look beautiful.
It’s around 4 hours of help each day, with a good mix of practical jobs and creative projects. You don’t need to be an expert - just be positive, practical, capable, and happy to get involved and up for creating something together. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Cultural Exchange
I am sure our cultural exchange will be easy going, fun, open-minded and full of conversation, laughter and stories and ideas about life.
I love culture, food, travel and different ways of seeing the world.
I’m a counsellor, half Finnish and half American, born in Australia, and I’ve lived across Asia, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia and California. I’m into art, design, great food, exploring new places and lots of laughing.
Bring your culture, stories and curiosity - I’ll bring mine. Let’s explore, cook, talk, laugh and learn from each other. -
Help
I’m looking for help for around 4 hours a day with getting my new four-bedroom home in Melbourne set up and organised. This could include unpacking, organising rooms, shopping for beds and a washing machine, a little cleaning, and helping with basic household setup.
There’s also plenty to do outside — helping plan and create the front and back gardens, digging, planting and getting the outdoor spaces looking beautiful. If you’re joining me from Sydney, there’s also the option of coming along for the road trip to Melbourne and exploring a few places on the way! -

Accommodation
It's my home, but I haven’t actually been to the house yet — so...we’ll be discovering it together! You’ll be staying in a newly built, four-bedroom home in Greenvale, Melbourne, about 30 minutes from the city and close to the airport.
There’s plenty of space to relax and make yourself comfortable. It’s a brand-new home that we’ll be setting up together, so you’ll have the chance to help make it feel welcoming, stylish and lived-in.
You’ll have your own private bedroom and bathroom, with shared access to the kitchen, living areas and garden. It will be our home base while we explore Melbourne, discover the neighbourhood and settle into this new adventure. -
What else ...
Let’s start in Melbourne anytime after 25 September and join the adventure from there! 🌿🏡✨
