    Description

    Hello,

My daughters and I make up a warm and welcoming household.
I am 35 years old, and they are 4 and 7.

The house is beautiful and bright, and we have a guest room and two outdoor patios, all in a pleasant and quiet neighborhood.

Our village is located in the heart of Berry, a region that has retained the charm of the authentic French countryside and is full of treasures—provided you’re willing to spend a little time exploring—far from mass tourism.

I’m a freelance podcast host and have been singing traditional folk songs in a choir for 8 years.

My daughters are affectionate and get along easily with others. We don’t have a TV at home :)

    We are Christians.
We are separated from their father, whose illness made it impossible for us to continue living together.
I would be happy to share daily life with a cheerful, down-to-earth person.

The house is 20 minutes from the Issoudun SNCF train station (direct from Paris) and 25 minutes from the Châteauroux airport.

    Bonjour,

Berry is the jewel of central France, a region that George Sand and Frédéric Chopin held particularly dear and which today offers a rare and precious opportunity: the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world and live in harmony with nature...

Berry reveals its charms through rolling landscapes, winding rivers, and picturesque villages. It is a land steeped in authenticity, where traditions, still very much alive, blend with a bountiful natural environment.

Right near my home, there are places where these authentic rural traditions (dances, songs, crafts, etc.) are passed down.

This region is full of hidden gems, but here are the most iconic: Bourges, for lovers of the Middle Ages; the Brenne Natural Park (absolutely stunning!) with its “Most Beautiful Villages of France”; Noirlac Abbey for its musical program; the George Sand House for lovers of the arts and literature; Sancerre for its excellent wine...
And here’s an even more picturesque spot: the Benedictine Abbey of Fontgombault, where you can meet real monks and meditate while listening to their centuries-old Gregorian chants.

    ______

    Help

I would like some help with household chores: meal preparation, housekeeping, and helping the children with their homework or activities.

    ______

  • What else ...

    What else ...

    What else can I say?
I’d love to chat about the topics close to my heart: poetry, spirituality, motherhood, resilience... I’m not much of a chatterbox, but I enjoy deep conversations.

There’s a very famous market just 10 minutes away on Monday mornings (the Saint Août market).

I’ll mention it again here: the Issoudun train station is 20 minutes away. You can be in Paris in 2 hours (direct train to Paris Austerlitz).
The Châteauroux airport is 25 minutes away.

    _______
