  After years in Australia, I now live in Anghiari in Tuscany with my little dog Bob.
  
  I recently bought an old farmhouse in the countryside of San Giustino in Umbria, which is about 20 minutes away from Anghiari.

  You have the great opportunity to see and join in a Tuscan life. You certainly will meet some of my friends here in Italy and join our days. We will cook or share a meal in one of the many traditional and typical osterias in the region. I also can offer to help and teach you English or German.

  Help

  I welcome some physical help by restoring the property.
  
  There is quite a bit to do in various areas and depending on your skills this could involve clearing and weeding the “jungle” which was unattended for quite some years or helping with more advanced projects such as building or carpentry.
  
  It would be great if you already knew how to use a lawnmower or even a brush cutter, have some general renovation skills or even advanced building or carpentry skills and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.

  Accommodation

  I offer a double Bedroom with 2 separate Beds for 1-2 people. You also have your private bathroom as well as food in a modern and updated home.
  
  I hope that we can cook together sometimes and learn from each other and share new culinary experiences.
  
  If you prefer to come with your camper or van you are also welcome to stay at the property in Umbria.

  Anghiari is at the southeastern corner of Tuscany and voted as ‘Borgo piu bello d’Italia’ - village most beautiful in Italy.
  
  Nearby you find Caprese Michelangelo the birthplace of Michelangelo, Sansepolcro, Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi and Lago di Trasimeno, just to name a few.
  
  There is a bus to Arezzo from where you can reach easily Florence (1h) or Rome (2h) by train. San Marino and Rimini on the Adria coast are easily reached by car within 90 minutes.

  Space for parking camper vans

  As there are no facilities at the property in San Giustino you will need to be self-sufficient when it comes to sanitary. However, you’re welcome to use the bathroom and shower in Anghiari.

• 

  Can possibly accept pets

  I fully understand and support travelling with pets. However, as Bob can be quite a bit territorial we need to discuss this more in detail if you would like to come and stay with your pooch, kitty, iguana, parrot or whatever your companion is....
