    Description

Hey my name is Ian .Im Looking for a hand or two to help create a productive piece of land in Co cork Ireland. With a bit less that an acre to play with ,im creating a vegetable and herb garden,a small food forest, art projects, building projects.Theres lots of clearing and cutting trees to do, Landscaping and planting.
In return for 20/24 hours work in a 4 day week..I can provide meals and I have a guest caravan with a bed, solar power and a basic kitchen.
Its a very beautiful part of ireland,3km from the Co Kerry border,5km from the coast, its mountainous out here, and shows the true beauty of the Southwest of the country.
The nearest bus route is a 1 hour walk away,,and that connects with Killarney and Cork City.
This is an off grid, sustainable project,,i dont drive,,i cycle everywhere, The Electricity supply is solar power, not always reliable in irish winter haha. The toilet is a compost toilet. Life is spent living on and connecting with the land.
Speaking of connecting,,due to having a Workawayer run away straight away, due to no instant phone reception ,i thought it best that i let people know that,,the phone reception is not good on my land,,its is available in places here, but if you are desperate to be connected to the internet etc all the time,,then this is not the place for you. This land is a small step back in time, so if you like the idea of having a break from the modern world,,this place is for you :)

    What else ...

no transport here so if your up for a walk and hitch thats perfect,, many local ancient sites nearby, scenic mountain walks, rivers, wild atlantic coast, time off work can be spent hanging out with myself and my friends, going to some partys/gigs(depending on time of year) or going for walks or just chilling doing your own thing. fussy eaters could be a problem, i dont eat meat so unfortunatley i wont be making meat meals, and people with alergies to foods, cats dogs, chickens,or high pollen count in the spring and summer may not find it easy out here.. im looking for fun people, easy going but enthusiastic :)
