    Description

We are a family owned multi cultural Resort, my Husband Brent born in Quebec Canada and myself Esther born and raised in The Netherlands run and operate the Resort with our two boys Joost 17 and Cooper 15. We have lived at and operated the Resort for 17 years now and absolutely love Vancouver Island. My husband and I met while working in the Caribbean and always dreamed of having our own piece of paradise to share with the world. The Resort is located about mid way on the East Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada in one of the best fishing and whale watching areas of all of BC. The wildlife is in abundance and the scenery spectacular, the 7 Cabins, 4 Glamping tents, 4 floating suites and 65+ RV Sites all share the waterfront and have breathtaking views of the Discovery Passage, the marine highway to Alaska. There is a large marina with Fuel Dock and Restaurant that many transients like to visit on their way by. The resort has the perfect mix of guests visiting from all over the world mixed in with the local community enjoying their own backyard.

The Resorts 188 acre property has an abundance of forestry landscaped grounds that need constant attention, the buildings need maintenance from time to time, including painting, and ongoing minor carpentry/maintenance projects. The multitude of accommodations stretched along the one kilometre waterfront are kept in tip top shape, so we are always looking to ad to our housekeeping team. We are looking for team players who would like to be part of our busy summer tourism season and join the crew. Hourly wages will be paid for every work hour towards helping run the Resort.

    What else ...

There is lots to do with your free time as long as you love being in nature and the bush! There is a huge gravel road system that connects to many different forestry recreational sites as well as an abundance of lakes, hiking tails and camping areas, these are amongst the top things to explore in close proximity! Try fishing 🎣 right of the dock, or maybe one of the locals will take you to the fishing grounds where the big ones live, only 5 min boat ride from the marina.
The Resort is located a 30 minute car ride from the closest town Campbell River. The town has everything you might need and more, stores, box stores, hospital, airport and lots of restaurants. We have staff that commutes daily and we ourselves go into town quite often for supplies.
