Description
We are an elderly couple who bought a beautiful 7 ha. farm 10 years ago. The farm has 300 olive trees and is located in Spain's Extremadura region, approximately 2km from Valencia de Alcantara. We live here year round with 7 horses, 3 dogs, 5 cats and 2 chickens!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Because of our close proximity to the Portuguese border, there are many opportunities for excursions and trips. Marvao, one of Portugal's most beautiful fortresses, for example, is only 15km away. There are many old villages nearby to explore as well, in which you will feel like time stood still at least 20 years ago.
Help
The main help we need is taking care of the horses (grooming, longeing, riding them, taking care of the equipment, etc.). We would like to have someone who can ride well.

Accommodation
Workawayers will live in a wood house on our finca. A warm lunch is served, breakfast and dinner is whatever you desire. The wood house has 80m2 with a Kitchen, 1 room, bathroom and a livingroom.

we would like two people to help us out and only people who can speak german. The area can be explored by bicycle or on horseback.
