    Description

    Allin Punchaw!
Close to the Sun, to the Moon and the Stars expands our place.
Fresh Air, pure dwell water, sacred places and nature-temples of the Inka are forming a mystical and magical place.

Here we live in simplicity and harmony with Nature, with herds of alpacas and llamas, rainbow trouts and dogs, among the wildlife of this area. Most of the time there is at least one person living up here, but you should be prepared that it could be just be you and nature  We have plenty space for more people.
We are part of the school of Inka cosmovision, sometimes there will be courses given by our spiritual teacher.
Apart from that we are a RETREAT CENTER, so sometimes there will be retreaters staying or workshops going on.

We have over 100 hectare Land in the highlands of Ecuador, about 3500 meters high. We have no employees , the place is run by our family. Most of the time Leo is the main guardian of the place, she is following ancestral teachings for over 10 years. Since 4 years she lives in Ecuador, orginally from Germany she speaks german, english and spanish.

We are very happy to meet and welcome you for a while on our beautiful land!

    Help

One of the most importante requirements to visit us is the honest wish to reconnect to Nature, to recognize her as a Temple.
We try to integrate ourselves, learning with humbleness & patience, showing our respect and gratitude to the land.

We need help with the maintenance of our property, we are especially searching for folks who are skilled and passionate about sustainable agriculture.

If you have special skills in handicraft like doing carpentry, bio-construction, renovation, plumbing, gardening, permaculture etc.
We welcome you to realize a personal project with which you can enrichen the project.
We need conscious builders and plantlovers who are inspired to help us expand the permaculture gardens and embellish our land.
There will be 4-5 hours of work and so plenty time to enjoy the beauty and magic of the place.
We are searching for physically strong and young people as the conditions up here are quite harsh.

    Accommodation

You would stay in the Refugio, which is one of our houses, sharing accomodation if there are more of you, there is a kitchen, a hot shower ( propane) , a chimney to keep it cosy ( you will be in charge to collect your fire wood on the property ), a compost toilet and limited solar energy which needs to be used very consciously. Apart from the organic food from our cultivations we provide very basic food, all extra wishes are on your own expanse.

We do not allow the use of any drugs (as alcohol, weed, other substances etc.) also we ask you to not smoke on the property.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

In your spare time you can explore our property and the surroundings, like mystical lagoons, ancient sun culture temples like Ingapirca, hot springs, going hiking in national park Cajas, horse riding, the city of Cuenca has many cultural attractions etc. you would need to arrange your own transport.

Once a week we offer you a transport where you can come down with us to Cuenca and do your personal matters. As we are quite far away from civilization it’s recommended to get everything you need for the week.
Up in the mountain we have phone reception and limited internet connection. Whatsapp is working fine.

We live a simple life following the wisdom of the ancestors as good as we can. Respecting life and following certain guidelines help us to develop a harmonic coexistence. We base ourselves in principles of the suncultures as such Kawsay- create, care and sustain life, individually and collective and all that surrounds us. Which implies being respectful and honest and having a discipline of being organized and clean.
We are mainly vegetarian, but there is no problem of eating seafood or even meat if it’s done consciously and with gratitude.
