Description
Hi! I am Tom. After six years living in London, I moved back to Estonia to start my eco project in Häädemeeste (south-western corner of Estonia).

This land belong to my father who sadly passed away 2017 but I feel privileged and lucky that he believed in me enough to pass the responsibility and potential onto me. With ownership of this land being traced back to my great grandfather who built his farmhouse here in 1920, I understandably have an overwhelming connection to the land and making this succeed. It is this connection with the land and nature coupled with the incessant bustle of London that encouraged me to reflect and become flexi-vegan/vegetarian as I like to know what I am eating.

My mission is not to promote relocating to the countryside, but only to protect nature and make your carbon footprint smaller on this planet through consuming less, shopping smarter, recycling and reuse where we can. This is echoed with my philosophy of taking care of your body and quietening your mind ultimately enhancing our abilities to truly feel and listen.

Location is beautiful, it is only 100m from the sea and there are so much nature close by to explore (Tolkuse bog, Kabli Bird Station, Nigula Nature Reserv etc).

As I am a beginner living in the countryside your help and advice is much appreciated.
I am looking for motivated people who has previous experience.

There are so many places to discover close to Häädemeeste like: Tolkuse bog, Kabli Bird Station, Nigula bog, Kabli beach etc.
Pärnu is 40km (1h by bus) and closest busstop is only 5min walk away.

I had the wonderful experience of sharing with Tom last summer in Haademeste. I can't describe how fantastic the experience with him at Suurkivi was. He was always very attentive to whatever I might need, like groceries, or a beer after a hot day mowing the lawn on his fun mini tractor :)

Tom is an incredibly kind person with an impressively… read more large number of friends; you'll always have someone to talk to or share with, whether they're his close friends, family, or the guests at Suurkivi. Thanks to this experience, I made friends within the hotel with whom I still maintain communication to this day, and I'm grateful to have met them. I had the opportunity to attend various typical Estonian parties and internal hotel gatherings with Tom's friends. It's truly the perfect place to connect with others and immerse yourself in the country's culture.

Regarding the work, it's quite straightforward but requires consistency. I made some beginner mistakes, but Tom was always very kind and understanding in correcting me, such as ensuring the place's cleanliness, providing the correct cleaning utensils, and how to interact with the guests.

Unfortunately, my health wasn't very good in the last days of my stay at Suurkivi, and I wasn't able to provide a proper video or photographs of the place as a token of gratitude for the experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend my experience with Tom, undoubtedly the best host you could have in Estonia. 100/10.

Tuve la bonita experiencia de compartir con Tom el verano pasado en Haademeste, no puedo describir cuan fastástica fue la experiencia con él en Suurkivi, siempre muy atento a lo que yo pudiera necesitar, como groceries, o alguna cerveza después de un caluroso día cortando el cesped en su divertido mini tractor :)

Tom es una persona increiblemente amable con una cantidad impresionante de amigos, siempre vas a tener con quien hablar o compartir, ya sean amigos cercanos a él, familiares o los mismos huespedes de Suurkivi.
Gracias a esta experiencia, hice amigos dentro del Hotel con los que aún hoy día mantengo comunicación y de los cuales estoy agradecido de haber conocido. Pude estar en varias fiestas Típicas Estonias y fiestas que se hicieron internamente en el hotel con los amigos de Tom, definitivamente es el lugar perfecto para compartir con otros y acercarse a la cultura del país.

Respecto al trabajo, es bastante sencillo pero hay que ser constante, yo cometí algunos errores de principante, pero Tom fue siempre muy amable y comprensivo para corregirme, como por ejemplo, la limpieza del lugar, proveer los utensilios de limpieza correctos y cómo tratar con los huespedes.

Lamentablemente mi salud no fue muy buena en los últimos días de mi estadía en Suurkivi y no pude entregar un buen video o fotografías del lugar en agradecimiento a la experiencia.

Recomendo 100/10 mi experiencia con Tom, el mejor host que puedas tener en Estonia definitivamente.
