UPD: We’re building a small winter house now, so if you’re physically capable and have any experience in construction, your help would be very valuable.
During this winter and spring 2021 we plan to have 2-3 volunteers living in this house on top of the hill, in a very quiet and beautiful mountain landscape. The main duty is general maintenance, and you can also help with social media marketing, fundraising, developing better outdoor design ideas, etc...
We’re excepting volunteers for a 7-days trial period. If everyone is comfortable and productive working with each other, we offer a longer stay. We’re most interested in volunteers who can stay for a few months or longer.
We are a team, a bunch of friends who's becoming a single family in making the idea of eco art-space in Carpathians come true. On the very top of the hill, in the greenness of ever young forests that envelop you from all sides we've started to build our space, inspired by the view of the distant mountain ranges around; enigmatic, and yet so welcoming.
Our main goal is to create a place where people have a chance to live sustainable life in harmony with nature and themselves, co-creating all kinds of art, caring out scientific projects, and simply expressing what they truly are. Right now our focus is on developing infrastructure for activities like festivals, workshops, and retreats with the flavor of exploration and ceaseless experimentation. Last year we held several successful events, the major one being Ecstatic Dance Festival for 100+ people. We like yoga, massage, meditation, tea ceremonies, contact improvisation, pottery and wood carving, and anything you are willing to contribute to our non-stop celebration of human spirit!
We envision using alternative energy, building permanent winter houses with rather daring architectural decisions, and venturing into eco farming. But... who knows what it really will be? For now we can only welcome you to take part in the creative process, to make from scratch a place where you would love to come back.
If you have no experience whatsoever, but feel delighted and inspired about all this, just write us! We'll teach everything there is to know. And if you do have an experience and see clearly what your help may consist of, we would be very privileged to meet you. This land is waiting for you. It's so beautiful.
We are in touch with multiple worldwide eco organizations and youth volunteer associations, as well as other NGOs and institutions which have resources to support our kind of ideas.
PLEASE NOTE THAT we don't eat meat. Alcohol, smocking and drugs are strictly forbidden in our space.
IMPORTANT! When you write a request please tell us if you come with your own tent and sleeping bag, and if you're okay with hosting somebody else in your tent.
This is, for sure, our wildest dream: The platform for unleashing the best of us. To thrive outside we start from within, and share it with the world.

If you feel like you belong to this place, chances are you will learn something that may very well shatter your worldview. Last year we never expected to meet so many delightful people coming from far-flung corners of this earth, and to share with them so profoundly. I still cannot thank them enough.
As soon as the weather is kind, we’re starting to assemble nearly from scratch all of the festival infrastructure: yurts, chill zone, showers with a magazine-cover view on the mountains, kitchens, and our feature event - traditional eco-sauna.
Next all of it goes through the wonders of decoration where you’re more than welcome to experiment with any material you like. Forests and meadows give us plentiful choices, along with a huge scope of ornamentation stuff we have.
Life here is so intense that we’ve never had guests with bad appetite. So cooking for us is pure pleasure: we’ll wolf down your every masterpiece!
And, of course, general help like cleaning, fixing, and organizing stuff is always very much appreciated and needed. Welcoming people, guiding participants, teaching or facilitating classes during events if you feel like you want to share something - here’s no boundaries of your contribution, we’re totally open to suggestions.
You’re welcome to JOIN FOR FREE any class or event if your work is done.

If you have your own tent to live in, we would be endlessly happy!!
And if you do not, no worries, man. I’m sure we’ll find a way to provide you with tent or even a comfortable yurt with beds for 2 or 3 people.
When our chef is in here, he cooks for us flavorful vegetarian meals. If otherwise, there’s always a kitchen at our disposal and plenty of food to unfold your full crazy-cook potential. Especially when we have homemade cheese or cream from our neighboring Hutsuls, as fresh as it could be.
WiFi works well, but in case of the overloaded network we can always provide you with a local SIM-card (which is super cheap by European standards) for a super fast mobile Internet.
Running-jumping-climbing trees, climbing all that’s climbable! At least, that’s what we do. And dance. We so dearly love to dance. And sing! Loud enough to make mountains tremble!! And whistle sometimes. As the wind does.
Go hiking as much as you want, anywhere. You’ll find our lights coming back in the night. Stargaze, this is something you will remember and even tell tales to your kids. The highest peak of Ukraine - Hoverla - is only one-day trip from us.
Get to know our locals called Hutsuls - a deep vibrant culture, originally nomadic, living in mountains for thousands of years. They can teach you all sort of things, from milking a cow and the art of cheese making to ancient embroidery secrets. And if you’re more of an intellectual type, museums of magic and mushrooms are there to catch your mind.
Close to the winter we start to pack, dissembling all that’s unnecessary. After the first morning frosts there always comes Indian summer... Only one thing that we may love more than dancing: sitting still near the fireplace, listening to somebody’s drum or drymba, enchanted by forces we can’t comprehend but only can share the experience. And then someone starts to sing. Softly.
And we are so grateful to be.
