  • Description

In summer 2019 we started to build our space from scratch. What we have now is a reatreat and festival centre with multiple glamping possibilities on top of the hill with magnificent views. A community of like-minded arising.
All of it was done by volunteers and is maintained and developed further by them.

What we're going to do in 2021:
    - host a few festivals for 100+ people and a number of retreats and educational events, tree planting campaign among them
    - build wind generator, greenhouse, solar dehydrator, and maybe compost heating system (biomeiler)
    - improve our infrustructure: kitchen place, yurts, interior of the house, showers, etc... (see below for the full list)

We’re excepting volunteers for a 7-day trial period. If everyone is productive working with each other, we offer a longer stay. We’re most interested in volunteers who can stay for a few weeks/months or longer.

There's no fixed schedule or hours of work. Generally, we discuss our tasks, and then you decide how much and when you're willing to contribute. We sometimes have urgent tasks and working for more than 5 hours a day is possible. In this case you can take a few extra days off afterwards. We encourage everyone to take responsibility for the amount of work they do, and for their inner well-being and balance.

We don't eat meat, so we provide volunteers with 3 excellent vegetarian meals a day, or all ingredients needed to cook it :) The kitchen is where we love to experiment, and everyone is welcome to join.

Please note that alcohol, smocking and drug use are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in our space.

-----> When you write a request for June-September please tell if you come with your own tent.

This is, for sure, our wildest dream: The place for unleashing the best of us. To thrive outside we start from within, and share it with the world.

If you feel like you belong to this place, chances are that you will learn something valuable. During previous years we never expected that so many interesting and delightful people will come and have a hand in this project. We are amazed by their passion every day and still cannot thank them enough.

  • Help

    Our main tasks for 2021:
    - Designing and building wind generator, greenhouse, solar dehydrator, and maybe biomeiler. If you’re physically fit and have experience in construction, your help can be very valuable.
    - Assembling festival infrastructure for summer: geodesic domes, yurts, showers, toilets, kitchens, sauna... Finishing our small winter house. Fixing issues with water supply, improving electricity.
    - Decorating, creating art objects. We like to work with natural materials like wood, stones, moss...
    - Maintaining all above mentioned. Cleaning, fixing, organizing stuff is always needed.
    - Cooking. We share kitchen responsibilities during festivals, and cook for ourselves when no events happen.

You can also teach or facilitate a class for other volunteers anytime you like, or become a part of our festival program. We're hosting events (mostly in June-September) connected to yoga, meditation, dancing / movement awareness, alfa-gravity, singing, breathwork, massage, ethnic music, clay modeling... and lots of other human artistic expressions.

You can participate in any events for free, just make sure that your tasks are done or that someone else can fill in for you.

  • Accommodation

In April-June and September-October you can live in one of our yurts which are electrified, have beds, pillows, blankets, electric bedsheets and carpeting on the floor. Typically there are 1-4 volunteers living in one yurt.

In July-August most yurts are likely to be occupied by our visitors, so we can only accept volunteers who come with their own tents. (However, a few exceptions are possible.)

In November-March we can accept a few volunteers to share a small house which we built ourselves and which is still in the process of development.

WIFI works well, but in case of overloaded network we can provide you with local SIM-card (which is super cheap by European standards) for a fairly good mobile Internet.

From our spot you can hike to Hoverla - the highest peak of Ukraine, or explore other mountain ranges which are gorgeous, wild and undescribable. You can walk in the forest picking mushrooms and berries. You can bathe in mountain river and take a deep breath.
