  • Description

Come help us with our unique guest house on Lake Malawi, owned by two South Africans. We started the lodge last year in 2017. We have ten rooms which we let out to travelers from around the world. We encourage a relaxed environment with positive vibes and good company.

Come and experience first hand the many cultures of Malawi. Malawian people are of the Bantu origin and comprise of many different ethnic groups, including, Chewa, Nyanja, Yao, Tumbuka, Lomwe, Sena, Tonga, Ngoni, Ngonde, Asian and European.

Malawi is often called the "Warm Heart of Africa." because of the warmth and friendliness of the people.

What makes us unique, is that we are based on the Southern part of the lake, neighboring the Malawi Navy, as well as the port for the only far distant passenger ferry, the Ilala. Workawayers can see up close the many vessels that occupy Monkey bay Harbour.

We are also on the boundry of one of Malawi's National Parks, so a short walk away to exploring the National Park and all its bird and animal life.

We are also a short walk away to traditional fishing villages along side the lake, where one can experience first hand the unaltered lifestyle of Malawian fishermen.
