 - Description- Welcoming volunteers and more permanent co-creators creators to my simple, vegan( mostly: read below )off-grid permaculture food forest finca at the coast of sunny Maro , Spain ( semi -tropical micro climate).
Very simple lifestyle with an (cold) outdoor shower and outdoor compost toilet ,shared sleeping space in a little , unique shared wooden cabaña that is diy build.
All has been and still is a low-budget project made with self build things, recycling trash,...upcycling.
The location is fenced in , in an area with a lot of spiritual, creative and ecologically minded neighbours, with people of lots of different nationalities.
It is 20 minutes walking from the beach, about 20 minutes from the mountains and the beginning of the Nature Reservation , about 40 minutes walking to the centre of a bigger town with all amenities.
 About me: worldpeace/holistic practitioner/energy healing/indigenous ,traditional womb healing and abdominal healing/ holistic womens health/holistic reproductive health/music, singing, mantra`s/dancing/ (raw) vegan food/naturist/ motherhood/Creative Arts/Nature/Family/Food forests/herbalism/sports/barefoot/meditation/Human Rights/conscious (non-violent) communication /tantra/ecological, sustainable, towards big self-sufficiency/writing, poetry/ stargazing/yoga/Ascension.
My finca is close to a road and a little town with a bit of light pollution, views over the barranco, and a good sense of Nature and all It`s medicine, all nights without clouds lots of stargazing possibilities.
I plan to build another bedroom in an eco-construction style next to the main wooden home, and this summer i hope to finish the ecological flooring in the cabaña with natural materials like clay.At the moment the floor is still under construction.
I am alao looking for farmsitters at times when i am travelling (max 3-4 weeks, several times a year) , where you will just be taking care of the general maintenance (taking out weeds like brambles, long grasses and watering about twice a week, keeping the paths clear, and when there is a rescue dogs , the dog needs care too like a walk sometimes , cleaning of the shit, giving it food and attention with loads of love ) of the finca but have no obligation to work 4 hours , 4 days a week.
A small tent is also available and there is space for a few more tents.
The mountains and Natural Reserve are at about 20 minutes walking from my finca.
Very hot summer months and not colder than 8 degrees in winter.
I grow avocado, banana, mango, pomegranate, kaki, white sapote, nispero, abricots mainly, and plan to build a medicinal garden (there is some thyme, sage, lavender, aloe vera... already).
No smoking of any kind (some medicinal medicine open for discussion if occasionally ,rare)/no alcohol.
Only vegan food without any animal products (although some loved ones of me eat vegetarian while they are here, in a separate strict way, so we could discuss this).
Please make sure you only bring ecological, biodegradable selfcare products, ..also your toothpaste 🙏🏻.
I have a solar system for small electrics, charging phones, a two-pit gascooker, an outside fire pit( fire season is from 15/10)
Making of biochar (fall/winter) Nature hikes, and i also do language exchange (durch, english) and (Ecstatic Dance, salsa, bachata )dancing in the big(ger) town nearby, singing circles, women's circles, water blessing ceremonies.
An Earthfloor will be installed in the cabaña in november 2025.
I am now breaking out the old floor.

 - UN sustainability goals this host is trying to achieve
 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- I am Dutch and speak Dutch, english mostly..willing to teach or language exchange.I would love to share dancing (free style, Latin, Ecstatic), bodywork exchange, holistic health, go for Nature walks, visit permaculture projects nearby together on occasion.
 - Help- Gardening, eco construction, house sitting, watering of the land, daily life-things that are part of my finca like compost -care, drinking water care we share and is part of the normal life besides the Workaway exchange.
I can teach you something about food forests, and Natural Farming, holistic health and healing.
Plenty of time to swim, beach time, Nature hikes, free time..
Getting groceries, digging compost in the ground near the trees, household cleaning, digging a shit-pit for instance .....are done together as a communal household activity.
 - Languages spoken- English: Fluent
 Dutch: Fluent
 German: Beginner
 Spanish: Beginner
 French: Beginner
 - Accommodation- Shared mezzanine in a shared little simple off-grid house, or in a tent i have for one person outside next to the house in a natural hut or in the garden.
I provide breakfast on working days.
I only have three 1000 liter watertanks of which one is also for the garden a little and for use for the shower and dishes, so i use water consciously.
I get water twice a week for the land and the household (sometimes more after consulting with the neighbours and in a good summer like this year where we have an abundance of water).
Drought has been an issue two years ago.
Life here is more comfortable than on a Rainbow Gathering or in a simple cave, but expect simplicity which in the winter means dressing warm and putting fabrics before the window holes to keep the wind from getting in, but remember and be aware....this is a little Paradise and good companion can be the best heat, warmth on colder days.
I would like to permanently co-create this place, home with 1-2 other people(travellers, nomads welcome for part of the year for instance), so if you feel the calling for this (after your Workaway visit,) do let me know!(This would be a non-Workaway agreement).
The entrance of Pequeño Paraíso is only big enough for small vans in certain measurements.
There is a little kitchen with a two-pit stove to use and share as part of the cabaña.
On sunny days the solar system provides enough energy to charge cell phones, to use electrical equipment and a laptop.
 - What else ...- I like silence and peace a lot, but am also a person who loves electronic music and partying, wild dances, jamming at the fire....social life in happiness.
Public Transport is the bus going a few times a day to the bigger town. In the bigger town there is a lot of public transport.A taxi is about 6-7 euro if you would like to take a taxi to my home from the little town. The nearest trainstation is Malaga at about 1-1,5 hours with the public bus which is only about 5-6 euro one way.
About 45 car minutes from Malaga, about 45 car minutes from Orgiva and Granada.
Internet is your own responsibility, for instance possible by buying a Digi card with mobile internet. I do use my laptop with my own mobile internet.
Sleeping space has two single matrasses.
I have a camping air matrass and summer or winter sleeping bag for inside of the tent as well.
 - A little more information - Internet access
 - Limited internet access
 - We have pets
 - We are smokers
 - Can host families

 - Space for parking camper vans- Only small vans, because my gate is narrow.
 - Can possibly accept pets- Only after we both agree it is possible. The land is too small for (a lot of) dog poop. I have some cats that come and go who are from my neighbour, and i will also have a dog of my own soon.Dog owners should be aware that it is needed to take your dog on a walk sometimes and do some cleaning up after the dog....sorry!
 - How many Workawayers can stay?- More than two
 - My animals / pets
