For August : we are looking someone to help who has horse experience as we are transporting horses with possibility to be paid for this specific task. Thanks.
Help out or complet an internship at our equine foundation in France, central to many main towns to visit.
We are a non-profit charity foundation focusing on equines and felines.
We are passionate about horses and are continuously developing holistic practices through our work and life.
Horses are manual work and is apart of daily life : jobs required are feeding, caring, paddock management and assisting with foundation charters. You will be close up to the horses.
We focus in holistic medical and rehabilitation of all approaches, and therefore not a traditional riding nor breeding stable. We do ride horses but from an holistic approach where appropriate however most of our horses are currently not ridden or in training to be ridden.
We also value the non-ridden horse and work with many horse welfare organisations in order to preserve the rights of horses and each discipline.
Workawayers and Internships are a contribution of equal exchange and enriching our lives.
You will come into contact with cats and horses. The house is some of the animals home - so please note this. Your beliefs and arrival does not change this.
Participation to the household is a normal requirement, meals. Must be able to get along with others, children, dogs and cats and their feeding routines.
BE PREPARED to laugh because this is a big part of the lifestyle here.
We offer short term stay of one to two weeks - where we happy to help those wishing to improve in their language skills in either of the languages of French and English, and just have a stay experience with horses. Short term stay is not an internship nor equine training nor is it paid.
For those more focused wishing to developing their learning in equine management and holistic medicine we have opened an equine college via the foundation. Here we offer onsite internship in relationship to the course studies, and internship by other organisations. Internships pertain currently to French law, and some are unpaid and paid depending on the internship status and equine stuides being held. Internships are a minimum of one month with some being 3, 6 or 9 months - this depends on the internship scheme.
The workawayer will be working 4 to 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
Internship will be working 5 hours per day to 6 days a week or more hourse depending on French works council law for internship contract (note each status of paid or unpaid pertains to different law practices).
We do have people who come outside of Workaway scheme and employees.
We do at times offered punctual paid employment jobs (pertains to French employment laws).
We hold face to face interviews and calls to exchange with the candidate prior to acceptance for all workawayers and internships.
