Help out at our equine foundation in France, central to many main towns to visit.
We are a non-profit charity foundation.
Cats are also apart of the foundation and we practice holistic management.
We are passionate about horses and are continuously developing holistic practices through our work and life.
Horses are manual work and is apart of daily life : jobs required are feeding, caring, paddock management. You will be close up to the horse.
We focus in holistic medical and rehabilitation of all approaches, and therefore not a traditional riding nor breeding stable. We do ride horses but from an holistic approach. We also value the non-ridden horse and work with many horse welfare organisations in order to preserve the rights of horses and each discipline.
Workawayers are a contribution of equal exchange and enriching our lives.
We offer short term - where we happy to help those wishing to improve in their language skills in either of the languages of French and English, and just have a stay experience with horses with a stay of one to two weeks
For those more focused wishing to developing their learning in equine management and holistic medicine we have opened an equine college via the foundation. Here we offer onsite internship in relationship to the course studies.
You will come into contact with cats and horses. The house is some of the animals home - so please note this. Your arrival does not change this.
Participation to the household is a normal requirement, meals. Must be able to get along with children, dogs and cats and their feeding routines.
BE PREPARED to laugh because this is a big part of the lifestyle here.
We do have people who come outside of Workaway scheme and employees.
The workawayer will be working 4 to 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
You will be required to show proof of identification and travel authorization into France, be interviewed face to face, and have an exchange contact.
COVID 19 requires strict policy to adhere to in France, and is mandatory by law. There is currently a curfew placed in France and masks and hand sterilization is a requirement. There as well as veterinary protocols to respect with the animals due to COVID 19.
Note: Smoking is not possible with us. We cannot accept other pets of workawayers due to veterinary protocols.
