    Description

We are a family of four living in a house in the beautiful Zurich Oberland region and are looking for someone to help us with everyday tasks and also teach us English.

To make you feel as part of the family, we would like to have the meals together whenever possible.
In the mornings, Manuel is usually already at work by breakfast time. The children need to get ready for school and "Spielgruppe", afterwards the house-work must be done and the lunch get repared.
I (Tabea) work 40% as a nurse, 1 day homeoffice and at least 1 day at the office in Zurich. While I'll be working, we would need your help to look after the kids, the house, as you would have the main responsibility.
In the afternoons, homework needs to be done. In their freetime the children join swimming lessons , therefore they'll need supervision . They alos like time outdoors in nature and/or at the playground and still need some to take care of them.
Occasionally, Manuel and I go out and would be grateful if you could stay with the kids and bring them to bed.

We're enjoing being active in and around the house with gardening, small construction projects, cooking, preserving food and much more.
On Saturdays, we usually bake our typically swiss Sundayplait with the children. We'd be happy to share our secret recipe with you.

Manuel is very active and enjoys hiking, biking, jogging, etc. You're welcome to join him if you like.
I go to the yogalesson once a week and I'm singing in a band, or sing and play the piano bymyself and as well every second sunday in the church (as a second job). You're warmly welcome to join in if you'd like.
If you're also musical, we can happily make music together in the evenings. We have an electric piano, two guitars, a ukulele, a cajon and a flute at home. Some more instruments we could lend at our families and friends.

As a family, we love hiking, swimming or going on bike rides. We'd love to show you our beautiful surroundings, with the rivers, many lakes and the mountains.

We love spending time in the mountains and often go to Graubünden (a two-hour drive far away) and stay for a few days or a weekend, usually to Arosa. There, we're enjoing hiking, pedal boating, swimming in summertimes, walk the themed trails, feeding the squirrels, or visit the bear park or the rope park and the wonderful Swiss mountain scenery.
During your stay, you'll be part of the family, and we'd love to share those experience with you.
Of course, you're also welcome to use the weekends, or even longer, to explore Switzerland by yourself and do what ever you like.

    Help

We are planning a trip abroad in 2027, or better said a sabbatical as a Family. Therefore we defentily have to improve our English and the Children are just staring. We are looking for someone to teach us some English and we believe that its best if you learn it during the family's daily routine.

There's always something to do around the house, and we would appreciate if you help us with housework, gardening, cooking and childcare.

There are also occasional small and large construction projects in and around the house planned. If you should be interested you also welcom to lend a hand.

The support would primarily involve childcare:
    - Help with homework
    - Playing games
    - Accompanying the children on leisure activities (transportation)
    - Putting them to bed/accompanying them (only occasionally)
    - English language lessons

Therefore we are looking for a native English speaker with big heart for children.
