Hello workawayers, from March we are looking for metal workers, welders and general help on board
The international sail training vessel allows people of any age from all walks of life the experience of being at sea regardless of their financial situation. While learning seamanship, fishing, carpentry and many more we are going to explore the beautiful landscape of Nova Scotia.
There is a great variety of daily duties on board. Besides cooking and cleaning, refitting the boat (which includes painting, preparing and replacing sails, general maintenance, fishing, etc.).
At the moment we are moored at the Bridgewater Marina working on a refit. Because of this, we are particularly interested in anyone with experience in welding and general maintenance.

Help with Computers / internet
Travelers with a will can learn all aspects relating to preparing a vessel for sea including sailing skills, knots, fishing and dinghy driving, etc.
If there are any questions left please contact me.
THE MISSION is to get the boat ready to continue the second circumnavigation voyage as an international sail-training vessel.
Therefore I am looking for help with basic live-aboard duties, fishing, shopping and cooking. Workawayers with special talents or abilities are encouraged to participate in art projects, basic welding, electric, carpentry, interior decor or computer help (to market my book "No Fixed Address" the true story of the first 17 years exploring the planet's oceans and countries with the junk' on her first circumnavigation).
There are 2 doubles and 3 singles bunks, a common area with a table and the 'library', and a galley/dining area.
Every Workawayer will be provided with 3 meals a day and a comfortable bunk.
There is a good oil heater aboard for or the chilly winter days.
