    Rebuilding from the Ground Up

We started our project near the atlantic coast of Galicia at the end of 2024.
Our vision is to rebuild an old ruin on the land and revitalize the 5,300 m² property using permaculture principles and experiences of people who lived in this area for ages– including earthworks, swales, ponds, and many trees.

Elli works professionally as a fruit tree pruner and loves to share her knowledge and skills.

Tim is an experienced carpenter with a background in both woodwork and clay building – techniques we plan to use extensively throughout the project.

We'll be rebuilding almost everything from scratch; only the original stone walls will remain. That means there will be many different building processes you can take part in – a great opportunity to learn with us and contribute along.

    Accommodation

You're welcome to stay in your own van or car, as we also recommend having a vehicle in this region.
Alternatively, we can offer you a camping experience in our tent, complete with all the necessary bedding.
This year there is also an option, sleeping in the House as we managed to get a roof on.

When it comes to food, we're flexible – it depends on the arrangement. We love sharing meals and spending time together, not just while working. You're always welcome to use fresh herbs and anything ready to harvest from our small garden.
