Description
My name is Oscar I´m a 33 years guy passionate about travels and meeting people from around the world whom decided to take a break from the work routine and opened a little hostel 2 years ago which has been improving step by step since then. The hostel is a cozy historic house located in the trendiest neighborhood in Queretaro (Barrio de la Cruz) which main aim and focus is to make every guest and volunteer feel at home, have a fun and relaxed time while exploring the city. There is plenty of improvement projects that can be carried out, focusing on resources sustainability, art, gardening, decoration, Etc.
The main goal of the hostel volunteership is that every volunteer truly gets to know the city as a local, have free time for desired activities and feel at home where all of their improvement ideas and projects will be welcomed and embraced, the hostel characterizes for being a friendly and welcoming house for everyone where social interaction is always encouraged.
Activities such as barbecues, parties, bar hopping and culture related ones are periodically held at the hostel

Volunteers will be able to experience a truly international experience getting to know travelers from all around the world, live and getting to know as a local one of the trendiest Mexican cities at the moment which is strategically located right at the heart of mexico, so moving around is super easy. Volunteers will get to practice many languages (specially spanish). All the volunteer ideas and projects will be welcomed, supported and encouraged (including house impovement, eco projects, art/decoration).
Help
Tourist reception, help with keeping the house clean (professional cleaning is made once a week at the hostel), help with organizing activities such as parties, bbq´s, games, bar hopping.
5 hours per day are required (5 days/week)(flexible schedule), We can plan a weekly schedule so everyone has free time for all the desired activities such as trips, free time, etc. The main goal is to create a friendly an welcoming enviroment, where everyone is happy, relaxed and comfortable.

Accommodation
Hostel can provide a bed within a shared room, a private room can also be provided from time to time for special ocaccions such as a friends visit, etc. Will depend on availability. Hostel will provide accomodation and food supply.

The hostel is located in el barrio de la cruz neighborhood, which is the trendiest, more bohemian one in downtown, just to 2 blocks away from 5 de Mayo. Moving around from here is super easy, the bus station is just 15 minutes away, and there is an airport 40 minutos away.
From here is quite easy to visit San Miguel de Allende, Bernal, Tequisquepan, Sierra Gorda de Queretaro, Huasteca Potosina and Mexico City among others
