Description
My Adelaide hills bush block isn’t far from the city but is a bit hard to access - 4wd recommended. Weed management and native revegetation are my priorities, although there is a large neglected veggie garden with small orchard that could be rehabilitated. There is access to water and a couple of basic accommodation options with solar power, indoor running water, wood heating and composting-type toilets.
I’m offering free accomodation and occasional transport (if needed) in exchange for help with general land management in line with local landcare principles and minor upkeep - starting with a short trial period. Suitable for people with some experience of off-grid living, and ideally some ‘farm skills’. It is a lovely natural eucalypt forest area with lots of koalas and abundant birdlife. -
