We are a growing housing cooperative seated directly at lake in Werder near Berlin. We are rebuilding a large heritage factory into flats for all generations. We founded a food coop, are working on a car sharing system and are preparing to change an old storage building into different workshops as well as a repair cafe and a community bike repair shop and community meeting point.
At the moment, from the biginning of June to the end of July we are looking for people that can stay for the whole time (minimum six weeks within that time frame) who are willing (or better: have experience) in dry wall building.
We are organizing a house cooperative from the scratch and will be a community with round about 130 members. There is a strong political side to our way of living in ecological and community respects as well in the sense how we are governing ourselves.
Since we are living directly at a lake which is part of the Havel river you can enoy watersports while here, we have canoes, Cayaks and Surfboards.
As we are living on a huge construction side their is a wide range of different works that need to be done. We are regulary organising workshops with the cooperative members, we have day to day work mainly in connection with our construction side.
In June and July we are building dry walls.

Please take a sleeping bag with you.
There will be a little kitchen space in a different house, where meals and cooking will happen.
