Description
We are a very happy, creative family of five living with animals in a rural old farm house in the south of holland. We used to live in Amsterdam and the French Pyrenees, but now chose for something in between. We are a filmmaker and a writer and are opening a healing space next year. Kids go to Waldorf school, we eat organic and live closely with nature and the animals, but due to our work we have strong ties with modern life as well.
We are currently renovating the house, which contains of our family house, a guest house and an old art gallery which will transform into the healing studio.
We have chickens, rabbits and cats living with us. The children are 9, 6 and 3 months old.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We recently bought a 1650 monumental farm house that we are renovating ecologically and have welcomed our third child in March. During summer we could use help with finishing the renovation, most painting with chalk and re-arranging the big garden to permaculture. Help with the animals and with the baby/kids/household.
A couple is preferred and building and babysitting experience is a plus, but solo travellers who like to be independent and spend time on their own are welcome too1Languages spoken

You'll have your own cosy, beautiful house attached to our family house with a private living room with wood burner in winter, bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. This part of the house had just been renovated as a holiday house and needs some finishing (some painting, decorating) which will be part of the work there is to do.
You have free entry into the garden, fast internet during the day and evening (we turn it of for radiation reasons at night), no smoking in the house, no drugs, moderate alcohol. We eat mostly organic, planted based, but vegan and vegetarian is possible. You have your own kitchen but we can also share meals, just as you like. What else ...
We live in a tiny village in the middle of a rural area, but cities like Maastricht, Aachen (Germany) and Liege (Belgium) are close by aswel as the train station. Amsterdam and Brussels are 2h by train and we have bikes to borrow. Our village has a small cafe and shops are ten minutes by bike.
You'll have your own space so in your free time you can either go out to bike or hike or visit a city or just stay at home and borrow a book or light a fire.A little more information
