Description
Welcome to our hostel in Valle Guerra, a peaceful corner in the lush north of Tenerife, where local life, nature, and the Atlantic Ocean come together.
Our hostel is surrounded by green landscapes, banana plantations, and beautiful coastal views, offering a slower and more authentic side of the island. While the south of Tenerife is famous for its beaches and nightlife, the north is known for its rich culture, charming villages, hiking trails, volcanic scenery, and year-round spring-like climate.
We created this hostel to be more than just a place to sleep—it's a space where travelers and locals can connect, share stories, enjoy good food, and experience island life together. We value a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
As a workawayer, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture while living in one of Tenerife's most beautiful regions. On your time off, you can explore nearby natural swimming pools, surf beaches, mountain trails, traditional towns, and vibrant local markets. The historic city of La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is just a short drive away, and many of the island's best hiking routes are easily accessible.
If you enjoy meeting people from around the world, spending time outdoors, and being part of a friendly, community-oriented environment, we think you'll love it here as much as we do. We look forward to welcoming volunteers who bring positive energy, curiosity, and a willingness to contribute while creating unforgettable memories together.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Our hostel is a place where people from all over the world come together, making cultural exchange a natural part of everyday life. As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to meet travelers from different countries, hear their stories, practice new languages, and discover a wide variety of cultures and perspectives.
Life at the hostel is very social. Whether you're sharing breakfast with guests, recommending places to visit, cooking together, or relaxing after work, there are plenty of opportunities to build genuine connections and friendships with people from around the globe.
We also love sharing the local culture of Tenerife. We'll be happy to recommend hidden gems, traditional restaurants, local festivals, hiking trails, beaches, and authentic experiences that many tourists never get to see. We hope our helpers leave not only with new skills and unforgettable memories, but also with a deeper understanding of island life and lasting friendships from around the world. -

Help
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and friendly volunteers who enjoy being part of a team and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
The main tasks will include cleaning guest rooms and common areas, preparing and serving breakfast, helping at reception with guest inquiries, as well as folding sheets and towels and assisting with general housekeeping. Depending on the needs of the day, there may also be other small tasks to help keep the hostel running smoothly.
No two days are exactly the same, so flexibility and a positive attitude are important. We don't expect you to know everything from the start—we're happy to show you how things work. What matters most is being responsible, proactive, and enjoying working with people from different cultures.
Helpers will stay in a shared dorm reserved exclusively for the team, so you won't be sharing your room with hostel guests. This gives everyone more privacy, a comfortable space to relax, and the opportunity to build friendships with fellow volunteers.
In return, you'll become part of our hostel family, gain valuable hospitality experience, meet travelers from all over the world, and enjoy life in the beautiful north of Tenerife. -

Accommodation
Helpers will stay in a shared dorm reserved exclusively for the team. You will not share your room with hostel guests, allowing for a more comfortable living environment and greater privacy.
The team's accommodation is located in a separate part of the house that is not accessible to guests, giving you a dedicated space to relax, rest, and enjoy your free time with the other workawayer. The dorm is shared with the team, creating a friendly atmosphere where you can get to know each other while still having a clear separation between your living space and the guest areas.
We want our helpers to feel at home, so we've designed the accommodation to provide a balance between community living, comfort, and privacy throughout your stay. -
