We stayed at Kasia and Andzrej house for a month in March 2017 and then for 9 months from September 2017. All the words we can write here will be for sure short to express all the amazing things we lived there. While we where in the house, we shared deep conversations, meals and we hang out together. Kasia is a food lover and there is always top
… read more quality products to eat in the house, Andzrej is a great cooker and thanks to him we tryed the best traditional polish dishes. Jonasz and Tymon are great kids, super independent, fun and creative. The place where we lived is super comfortable, is like an appartment, calm and it is near a great park with a lake. About the school. We collaborated being part of the community and teaching spanish. It is a beautifull project build with tons of love and commitment from ALL the team. It is a stimulating environment, for children and adults and even though we stay for a long time there is a lot of things we would have loved to do. It is a great place to learn about Education in a wide meaning and to be part of a community where children, teachers and families are in the same level discussing and giving opinions, everybody’s voice is listen to and taking into consideration. A million of times we thought how cool would be to be a kid again so we could go to MU, but it was good to live the experience and let it change us to become more mindful and responsible adults in relation with children. We spent only one week with Katazrzyna and her family but we had such a wonderful time in Wroclaw with them. Katazryna is a brilliant host. She made us feel at home straight away and always made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The school is a fascinating project and a testament to Katazryna's passion and energy. Our
… read more time here was unique experience and working in this environment was a huge learning experience for both of us. We also enjoyed taking part in some of the classes and making plasticine figures with the children. I could recommend this to anyone with an interest in alternative approaches to education. It is a pity that we could only afford to spend one week here as both of us feel like we would have enjoyed having the chance to stay longer.
We felt a part of the family during our stay here; from playing lego and cooking pizza with Jonas and Timon to having great conversations around the table. Overall our week here was a brilliant experience, an education for both of us and always pleasure.
Thank you so much for everything and best of luck with the project in the future.

I stayed with Katazarna, Andrzej, Timon and Jonas for a week in Wroclaw and I wish I could have stayed longer. It was a great pleasure to volunteer with them and I was very lucky to have met such nice people. Katza and Andrzej are very friendly and accomodating and their children are an absolute pleasure to teach.
The work was enjoyable, playing
… read more with the boys and helping out at the school and helping out around the house... it was a great experience for me.
They also took me all around Wroclaw and showed me the interesting sites, parks and Christmas market in the city...great fun!
They treated me like family and I enjoyed sharing the great Polish food and good conversations. Also they speak English quite well (even the children) and were very helpful with my Polish learning.
Overall one of the best Workaway experiences I've had...
Thank you for everything! Hope to see you again soon :-)
