Hi there! My name is Denise. I am married to Diarmuid and we have 2 adorable teenagers - Róisín (19yrs) & Dara (16 yrs). We run a bed and breakfast on the magnificent Dingle Peninsula on the West Kerry coast of Ireland.
Our aim is to offer our guests a truly memorable experience which will stay with them forever:) In order to ensure this, we need helpers who are committed to fulfilling that objective and who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure our guests leave happy and contented. The extra mile could be something as simple as a smile:) We also require our workaways to be willing to be motivated when on duty and to be prepared to get stuck in wherever and whenever the need arises!
We have only four rooms in total available to our guests, all finished to a high standard. We will be delighted to have you share in our daily routine and to have you help us in carrying out our duties.
Irish Law requires Non- EU workaways to have a work permit to work in Ireland. Therefore if you are reading our profile, are a non- EU national and are interested in coming to help out, you need to be sure you are legally eligible. We will also be happy to discuss payment with you for your help:)
Our location is also unique in that we are nestled between Mt. Brandon (Ireland's 2nd highest mountain) to the East and the Wild Atlantic Ocean to the West. Not alone that but we live in the heart of the West Kerry Gaeltacht - Irish-speaking area and so Irish is the first language of our house. That said, we are also fluent in English!!
If you would like the opportunity to help and experience life in an unique and authentic bed and breakfast, please feel free to contact me:)
I look forward to hearing from you:) Denise

This host offers accommodation and payment.

Volunteer help would include front of house duties - sometimes meeting and greeting guests, cleaning, helping with preparation of family dinner. Would need workaways who are motivated and enthusiastic.

You will be provided with a room of your own (not inhouse) but in an old-style farm house across the road from us. All meals will be provided for you. Free wi-fi in the house.
A bicycle or some mode of transport is essential to get around. Even though we are only 10 minutes drive from Dingle Town, you would not be walking in and out there in a hurry - 12 km! The bus transport service is only once or twice a week. That said, I am in town every day and can give you a lift if required. Please note that you may be on duty when I am heading to town and so it will not always work that you will be able to get a lift. We will have a bicycle available for you for the duration of your stay. Free Wifi is available to you in the old farmhouse.
