Marhaba, nice to meet you!
My name is Ghaith I am from Madaba and I love books. Once I had a dream to have a bookshop in my town. My dream came true. This is not only a bookshop, it’s also a social active bookshop, a cultural space for youth, locals and tourists with a friendly environment that encourages reading culture through social engagement activities. We run diverse workshops and events (storytelling, gardening, up-cycling workshops, educational activities, movie nights, reading clubs and many more)
Our cultural bookshop is becoming a daily necessity for local people, a must-see for visitors and tourists from all around the world. It’s a place to dream, to escape the daily stress and experience something extraordinary. A comfortable and cozy place to meet your friends, to chat, read, learn something new, perform, relax and interact.
On the top of that bookshop houses a warm café with a garden view. We offer home-made cakes, cookies, high quality café, local herbal teas and many more. Recently we have opened a social kitchen that serves a delicious and healthy sandwiches.
We are situated in one of the oldest family houses in Madaba, loved for its unique architecture dating back to 1932, located between Saint George church and uptown area.
