We have a family run business in Wadi Rum, Jordan. We live and operate our company from Rum village which is about a 1-hour drive northeast of Aqaba.
We offer different types of tours. Jeep tours, camel rides, hiking and scrambling tours and trekking. Trips can vary for a full day up to nine days. For the overnight stays, we have a camp in the desert where we can host up to 30 guests.
Further, we also have a 'cave' where people can sleep outdoors. Our guests come from all over the world and are mostly independent travellers who are looking for a 'once in a lifetime experience'. Since we can welcome more and more travellers, we can use some help in the daily operation.

Help around the house
While you stay with us, you will have the chance to experience real Bedouin life as you will be part of our team and therefore of our lives. You will learn about our culture, traditions and see how we live and work nowadays. You will eat our traditional food and drink our famous Bedouin tea. And, of course, we will have the chance to learn some Arabic. Business wise you will learn about the logistics of running a camp in a place where basically everything needs to be brought in from outside.
We are happy to host volunteers who can help us out in our office and camp. For the office where we welcome our guests, we can use some help to keep the place clean and ready. We also can use help with the laundry and preparations for the camp. In the camp, we can use help to clean and prepare the sleeping tents and daily cleaning of the bathroom building. Every now and then we can also use some assistance with general maintenance of the camp site.
