Description
Hi, my name is Delaite I created this place to share my dedication to wellness and community building in the beautiful oasis of Bacalar.
At our small Hostal we have one full time cleaner and assistant manager, she is the best and you can practice perfecting your spanish with her. Workawayers will not be expected to clean rooms but only to maintain the communal kitchen space clean and tidy as it is used by all local staff and Workawayers. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We offer a homestay environment with shared kitchen and frequent communal meals. We are looking for volunteers who can do light work (raking leaves in the communal space, helping guests, reception, social media, mural making, etc.) Our space hosts many wellness activities such as yoga, sound healing, reiki, etc. All volunteers can attend any of the classes for free. We also encourage volunteers who have passions to create promote and host their own events in the space. We have amazing views of the Lagoon and a small fitness area with basic equipment. Working here you will gain hospitality, wellness and language skills, as our guests and staff are very diverse.
