Description
Hi, we are the Aniere's, a family of 4 - Justin, Gussy, Mali (5 years old) & Arlo (3 years old), living on the coast of Kenya at our small boutique hotel. We are looking for someone to come help homeschool our children (English & Math mainly) for a couple of hours a day.

Living on a secluded beach you'll be able to experience a true castaway experience, where you can forget about shoes or keys. The hotel was set up in the 1970's by Justin's family and since then the community has grown around us and therefore we have very good links with the local villages around us, with over 95% of our staff coming from the surrounding areas.
You will have the opportunity to learn more about Kenya and the local tribe and can learn some Swahili. Of course we also have travellers visit our hotel from all across the globe so you will have the opportunity to mix with a great range of people.
Every weekend is yours to explore the wonders of the Kenyan coast; go on thrilling safaris, discover our nearby towns, or simply relax and soak up the sun.Au Pair Help

Help
We are looking for someone to come and help homeschool our two children. As they are both still young we do not have any formal curriculum in place but are mainly looking to focus on Maths & English (reading, writing etc.). We're looking for someone to join us for a few hours in the morning, with the possibility of occasional afternoon activities so are happy to host those who are digital nomads - we have Starlink internet on site.
We are looking for the following -
Fluent English Speaker: A passion for the English language and the ability to communicate effectively with young children is essential.
Creative & Engaging: You have a knack for making learning fun and engaging through interactive activities and games.
Patient & Kind: You have a calm and understanding demeanour, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for our children.Languages spoken
English: Fluent
Italian: Fluent
Swahili (Kiswahili): FluentAccommodation
We will be hosting your in one of our bandas (cottages) at our hotel and there is a restaurant on site where you can take all your meals. We are able to cater for all dietary requirements but of course being a beach restaurant our menu has a strong focus on seafood and Justin also owns a crab farm behind the hotel so we specialise in crab too!
What else ...
Living on the coast of Kenya our lives revolve around the beach. We are the owners of the first kite school in the whole of East Africa, set up in 1999, and would be happy to offer a kite course and equipment to those interested. We also have a couple of boats (a deep sea fishing boat, a dhow (traditional sailing boat) and a few dinghies) and love exploring our bay and taking the children snorkelling. Our hotel is located on 10kms of untouched beach and you can enjoy walks/runs without bumping into anyone! We also have some stunning sand dunes to enjoy the sunset from.
We are only 2.5 hours from Tsavo East National Park where you can have the opportunity to spot the Big 5 and there are larger popular tourist towns 30mins & 1 hour drive south of us.A little more information
