    Description

Hello, we are French-Spanish father and daughter, resident in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca for more then 10 years.

Our property of 10 hectares, located only 10 minutes from the most beautiful Costarican beaches, is in the midst of a natural ecosystem with amazing views.

100% organic crops on the property, several fruits and vegetable plantations: bananas, mangos, pineapples, passion fruit, avocados) and local products (cocoa and vanilla).

For a few years now, we are worried about the critical situation of pollenizers (bees). That's why we would like to create a sanctuary where the bees could re-establish and breed sustainably in the area.

We are also working on planting fruits and vegetables on the land, so we can start going into a self-sufficient production.

  • Help

    Help

We need workawayers to help us in the crops (bananas, pineapple, cocoa, mangos, tomatoes, raspberries, etc...), having some knowledge in permaculture would be great.
We would also need people to help building treehouses for workawayers.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

The workawayers have at their disposal a little tree house, with one room, one kitchen, bathroom with toilets and shower, 50 meters away from the owner.
They can also sleep under tents in the garden, next to the owner's house.
Concerning the food, we can only provide the fruits for the crops (bananas, pineapple, mangos...), depending on the harvest. For the rest, the workawayers need to provide food for themselves. They can buy it in the supermarkets of the village.

If you want to enjoy this beautiful area, we recommend you to rent a scooter or a car. Here you will find a lot of surfspots, wildlife sanctuaries, cascades, yoga classes, healthy (or not) restaurants, bars, shops of all kinds (mostly handmade crafts).
