  • Description

    Description

We are a couple in our 50s living in a traditional log house at 780 meters above sea level in Nesbyen, Norway. During the summer our youngest daughter (20) will also be at home.
We both work full time, and hope this arrangement allows us to get some help while also meeting new people and giving someone the chance to experience Norwegian mountain life.

    You should:
    • be in reasonably good physical condition (the work is physical)
    • be practical and able to work independently, though we will mostly work together
    • speak English or a Scandinavian language
Experience with horses is a plus, but not required, but you should not be allergic to horses.
Ideally you have a car or at least a driver’s license
Bring your own work clothes and sturdy shoes suitable for wet terrain. We provide work gloves.

We have two horses age 4 and 23.
