Description
Hello there!
I'm male on my early forties and living in the Bay Area, about 50 min from San Francisco, CA. Born in South America but USA is home now. I'm a gay man with a four legged daughter (my dog :) ) . So you would need to be open minded and LGBTQ friendly.
My little girl and i love to travel local and internationally and she is the best companion ever.
My home is spacious and peaceful — 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a porch, and a good‑sized yard. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and have plenty of personal space. I’m looking for a volunteer who enjoys practical, hands‑on tasks: light housekeeping, yard work, maintaining a small veggie garden, organizing and clearing out the basement, and taking care of the fish in the aquarium. Everything is light and manageable.
If you appreciates quiet mornings, outdoor work, and a calm environment, you’ll feel at home here. I enjoy simple moments — a glass of wine on the patio at sunset or a cup of coffee in the morning — and I welcome someone who enjoys that same peaceful rhythm.
The neighborhood is very quiet, with great spots for walking, running, biking, or fishing. It’s a short walk to the waterfront (where you can catch the ferry to San Francisco) and close to downtown restaurants, shops, and art. Northern California’s best outdoor destinations — wine country, beaches, forests, and national parks — are all within reach.
I speak English and Spanish, and I’m slowly (very slowly!) learning French. I enjoy fairs, festivals, camping, RV trips, and exploring new places. I also love cultural exchange and would enjoy learning about your traditions, meals, and experiences. I’m vegetarian, but you don’t have to be.
And while I love the quiet life, I enjoy going out too — sometimes for a nice meal, a local event, or even a night of dancing. It’s all about balance.
Ideally, I’d like to host a male volunteer for at least a couple of weeks — someone respectful, grounded, and comfortable in a quiet home.
Cheers

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Staying here offers a calm, peaceful environment where you can slow down, enjoy nature, and experience everyday life in Northern California. You’ll have plenty of personal space, quiet mornings, and relaxed evenings — whether that’s sharing a cup of coffee on the porch or a glass of wine on the patio while the sun sets.
You’ll get the chance to learn about:
South American culture and traditions, especial customs, food, and daily life
Life in the Bay Area, including local history, neighborhoods, and outdoor spots
Vegetarian cooking, simple garden‑to‑table meals, and seasonal produce
Language practice — English, Spanish, and a bit of French
Local outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, biking, and exploring Northern California’s parks, wine country, and coastline
Home and yard care skills, including gardening, organizing spaces, and caring for pets and aquarium fish
I enjoy sharing stories, meals, music, and travel experiences, and I’m always curious to learn about your background, traditions, and the way things are done in your home country. If you’re a grounded, respectful man who appreciates quiet spaces, nature, and simple routines, you’ll find this a comfortable and enriching place to stay. -

What else ...
When you’re not helping around the house, there’s plenty to enjoy in a calm, peaceful setting. My home is in a very quiet neighborhood, perfect for volunteers who appreciate space, silence, and a slower pace. You can relax on the porch or on the patio , spend time with Saphy, or simply unwind in nature.
