we are Bruno & Elena and we have an organic farm of 4,5 acres adjacent to our house.
We are simple, enthousiastic and happy people!.
We work full-time on the farm, we have two children aged 10 and 15 attending the local Steiner-Waldorf School and the Artistic High School. There are also two members of the farm that works full-time with us.
We have an healthy life and we eat healthy vegetarian food, mostly organic and self-produced.
We grow any kind of vegetables, some fruits and cereals, beside tomato sauce, vegetable preserves, stone-milled flour, bread, cereals, legumes and more.
Our project is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture): a system that connects the producer and consumers within the food system more closely by allowing the consumer finance the harvest of a farm. It is an alternative socioeconomic model of agriculture and food distribution that allows the producer and consumer to share the risks of farming.
The model is a subcategory of civic agriculture that has an overarching goal of strengthening a sense of community through local markets.
You may have the chance to see organic gardening but please note we do not allow volunteers in the farm as this is not allowed from Authorities.
We also organize so many classes for vegan cooking lessons, soap production, meetings concerning critical consumption all over the year.
During July and until 15 September we host small groups of children from local Steiner Schools they follow agricultural life accompanied by a Waldorf teacher. We provide also meals. This is very interesting for those who like this way of education and for those who would like to cook vegetarian and vegan genuine food.
As we are so busy with our job, volunteers are welcomed for house keeping and preparing meals for the family.
Elena speaks English, French and Spanish. Our two partners who speaks little English.
We do not use TV, but an internet connection is available. Smoking is not allowed in the house.
In case you would like to join us, few recommendations to bare in mind before writing to us:
- We offer separate room outside the house, the room has kitchen and bathroom with shower inside
- We may accept only one person per time, sorry
- We suggest you no more than 2-3 week stay, the accommodation we may offer is not so confortable for long stays
- We ask you to write us ONLY if you really intend to join us and if our profile really fits to what you are looking for.
We receive so many requests but 99% turns to nothing, so I am sorry to say ..no time-wasters!
We wait for you!

We like to share our knowledge. We are very careful that volunteers spend time with us.

We offer a self-contained room outside the house with bathroom and kitchen.
