🌱 Welcome to our Healing Farm

We are Adam and Shani, a couple living in the forest 34 km (about 35 minutes) from Tampere, Finland. Together with the support of volunteers and friends, we are creating a healing farm and community space where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the Earth.

Our vision is to grow a place of regeneration, creativity, and sustainability, a living sanctuary where healing, nature, animals, and community meet. 🌍💚 One of our dreams is also to live in harmony with animals, at the moment, a lovely cat lives with us on the farm.

Our place itself is not a business.
Our workawayers are helping us in our country side place. When we got this piece of land there was lots of help needed to renovate and create more accomodation for the workawayers and friends and the basic house and garden.
I have some projects with indeginous people in the Amazon and out of this inspiration I'm sharing with the workawayers our vision.

    🌿 What We Offer
Individuals or small groups can come to:

    Reconnect with nature and themselves

Learn and share skills in sustainability, herbalism, self-sufficiency, and well-being

Explore mindfulness, shamanism, artistic and creative expressions

Experience traditional Finnish sauna and forest living

Join gatherings of healing music and community sharing

We are also deeply connected with the Yawanawá indeginous tribe in the Amazon, Brazil, where once a year we guide people to learn from their traditions, wisdom, and way of life. Part of our purpose here in Finland is to help preserve and share indigenous knowledge and spirituality.

    🌍 Our Vision & Future
We are a non-profit organization with a dream of expanding into a sustainable community that protects the forest and empowers people. The farm is moving toward self-sufficiency:

    Compost/dry toilets & traditional sauna

Kitchen with grey water system and water from our own well

Electricity (exploring solar & alternative energy)

Plans to build small cabins, an earth cellar, and larger food gardens

Our big vision is to grow food, build sustainably, live with animals, and empower each other by learning and teaching different skills.

    🛠 How You Can Help
We welcome volunteers who want to contribute with:

Physical help on the land (gardening, planting, harvesting)

Woodwork, renovation, and natural building (we are willing to contribute financialy to people with professional skills)

    Foundation work and eco-construction

Creative skills: graphic design, web design, communication

Most important to us: willingness, trust and good communication 🙏

    🏡 What to Expect:
Accommodation: Sleeping in traditional Finnish log cabins. You may share a room with other volunteers. You might be for some of the time alone and some of the time together.

Facilities: Two traditional saunas for washing, dry insulated toilets, shared kitchen, electricity and warm water.

Transport: Local buses run 4 km from the farm, bikes are available, When possible we can give lifts from/to Tampere, which is the nearest town/city.

    Community life:
We mainly live on the farm, but also keep an apartment in Tampere. Sometimes we spend a few days in the city, so there may be times when volunteers stay at the farm on their own, or can stay at the flat in the city during their days off. (Tampere is world sauna capital and has attractions like Sarkaniemi amusement park, moomin museum, rauhaniemi sauna and more

Lumi, Adam’s 14-year-old daughter, sometimes comes to visit.
Friends also come and go, joining to help and share.

    💚 Join Us
If you feel called to share your hands, heart, and creativity, we warmly welcome you Together we can build, heal, and grow for ourselves, each other, and the Earth. 🌍✨
