English speaker to help our children learn English in Colima, Mexico

  Description

  Hello! We are a family of five, three children of 10, 7 and 2 years old. We home school and would love to host someone who speaks English and can support the older children with some of their classes. A plus would be that he likes to cook a lot and is open to cooking for the family or cooperating with the preparation, however this is not the priority. We believe that each Child has their own rhythm and preferences and we like to accompany them on their own quests. We have an adapted and flexible waldorf curriculum. We are also organizing ourselves to open a space to include more children, something like a free school that we like more to call a play space or a children's club. We live in a small and beautiful city full of nature, we have the beach and the mountains nearby (30 min approx). We are in the Mexican Pacific in the city of Colima.
  
  
  
  Hola! Somos una familia de cinco, tres niños de 10, 7 y 2 años. Hacemos escuela en casa y nos encantaría recibir a alguien que hable Inglés y pueda apoyar a los Niños mayores con algunas de sus clases. Un plus sería que le guste mucho cocinar y esté abierto a cocinar para la familia o cooperar con la preparación sin embargo esto no es la prioridad. Creemos en que cada Niño tiene su ritmo y preferencias y nos gusta acompañarles en sus propias búsquedas. Llevamos un currículum waldorf adaptado y flexible. Estamos organizándonos también para abrir un espacio donde incluir a más niños, algo así como una escuela libre que nos gusta más llamar cómo espacio de juego o club de niños.
  Vivimos en una ciudad pequeña y hermosa llena de naturaleza, tenemos la playa y las montañas cerca (30 min aprox). Estamos en el Pacífico Mexicano en la ciudad de Colima.

  Travelers will have a place to live comfortably with their own room and daily food at home. Training and learning on free education. Have a car available to visit nearby tourist places (beach, mountains, nearby cities). Learn / practice Spanish and get to know the diversity of eco-tourist and cultural places in our region.
  
  
  Los viajeros tendrán un lugar dónde vivir cómodamente con un cuarto propio y alimentos diarios dentro de casa. Capacitación y aprendizaje sobre educación libre. Contar con auto disponible para conocer lugares turísticos cercanos (playa, montaña, ciudades cercanas). Aprender/ practicar español y conocer diversidad de lugares eco turísticos y culturales de nuestra región.

  Help

  We are looking for someone who is fluent in English, loves children, is cheerful and is confident in children's learning abilities. Specifically we require support for older children (7 and 10 years old) with their classes / learning. We have a very flexible English curriculum already prepared for each one and we are looking for someone who can accompany them as a tutor. Also someone who can get involved in creative games with children and who has availability and a taste for cooking to help with the preparation of food for the whole family.
  
  
  Buscamos a alguien que hable inglés fluidamente, que le encanten los niños, alegre y que confíe en la capacidad de aprendizaje de los niños. Concretamente requerimos apoyo para los niños mayores (7 y 10 años) con sus clases/aprendizaje. Tenemos un currículum en inglés muy flexible ya elaborado para cada uno y buscamos a alguien que pueda acompañarlos como tutor. También alguien que pueda involucrarse en juegos creativos con los niños y que tenga disponibilidad y gusto por la cocina para apoyar con la preparación de comida para toda la familia.

  Para alojarse se cuenta con una habitación independiente dentro de nuestra vivienda y podemos ofrecer los alimentos diarios en casa.

  We have a car that we can lend you to (with prior organization) get to know the surroundings of the city. Nearby there are very beautiful places ranging from virgin beaches, a dormant volcano to camping, climbing. Our city can also be explored by bike with ease.
  
  
  Disponemos de auto que podemos prestarle para (con previa organización) conocer los alrededores de la ciudad.
  Cerca hay lugares muy bellos que van desde playas virgenes, un volcán inactivo para acampar, escalar. Nuestra ciudad se puede también explorar en bicicleta con facilidad.
