Description
Hi my name is Gerrie. I have been living in Spain since 2022 in a beautiful place in Javea. I am a mother of three adult children who live in the Netherlands and now a grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter. I am creative and like to make sculptures and paintings, organize art and cooking workshops and people can come and eat with me. In addition, I am a coach, I help people to be happy again and free them from fears and traumas that they suffer from. But above all I help them find themselves again. Hobby's are running, walking, yoga, music, singing, reading, cooking, creative things, gardening, skiing and having fun with friends.
My house is on the magical mountain of Montgo. I have a nice house and big garden. I also started a vegetable garden. I enjoy creating and gardening but even more fun doing it together. I like to get to know other people and cultures. I was once an exchange student myself. That's why I'm signing up at workaway.
I think I have something nice to offer. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy everything Spain has to offer. A beautiful area for walking and cycling. In addition, a wonderful place to work together in the garden. Oh and finally what is also so delicious, I have an orchard with lots of fruits such as oranges, tangerines, persimmons, flat peach, lemons, grapefruit, apricot, avocado walnuts quince and more. You help me harvest and make tasty things out of it.

Hi mijn naam is Gerrie. Ik woon sinds 2022 in Spanje op een prachtige plek in Javea. Ik ben moeder van drie volwassen kinderen die in Nederland wonen en inmiddels oma van een prachtige kleindochter. Ik ben creatief en maak graag beelden en schilderijen, organiseer kunst- en kookworkshops en mensen kunnen bij mij komen eten. Daarnaast ben ik coach, ik help mensen weer gelukkig te zijn en bevrijd ze van angsten en trauma's waar men last van heeft. Maar bovenal help ik ze weer zichzelf te vinden. Verder houd ik van hardlopen, skien, yoga, tuinieren, koken, zingen, muziek, lezen, wandelen en gezelligheid.
Mijn huis staat op de magische berg de Montgo. Ik heb een groot stuk land met een grote tuin. Daarnaast ben ik begonnen met een moestuin. Ik vind het leuk om te creëren en tuinieren maar nog leuker om het samen te doen. Ik houd ervan om andere mensen en culturen te leren kennen. Zelf ben ik ooit uitwisselingsstudent geweest. Daarom schrijf ik me in bij workaway.
Ik heb denk ik iets moois te bieden. Een heerlijke plek om te relaxen en te genieten van alles wat Spanje te bieden heeft. Een prachtige omgeving om te wandelen en fietsen. Daarnaast een heerlijke plek om samen in de tuin te werken. Oh en tot slot wat ook zo heerlijk is, ik heb een boomgaard met heel veel fruit zoals sinaasappels, mandarijnen, Kaki-fruit, platte perzik, citroenen, grapefruit, abrikoos, avocado walnoten kweepeer en nog meer. Help jij me met het oogsten en lekkere dingen ervan maken.
Ben jij goed in tuinieren of kan jij goed met de naaimachine overweg meld je dan aan. Of ben jij de persoon die mij kan helpen nieuwe foto's op mijn websites te plaatsen, dan zien we elkaar misschien al snel.

As a life coach and with my life experience I may be able to help you with your life issues but above all I like to get to know you and your culture and I will do my best to teach you a bit of Spanish culture as well as Dutch culture .
Naast een mooie slaapplek en lekkere gezonde maaltijd kan je genieten van Spanje. Vanaf hier kan je het prachtig landschap ontdekken. Als levenscoach en met mijn levenservaring kan ik je misschien helpen met je levensvraagstukken maar bovenal vind ik het leuk jouw en je cultuur te leren kennen en zal ik mijn best doen om zowel jou een beetje van de Spaanse cultuur als ook de Nederlandse cultuur bij te brengen.

I could use some help in the garden and painting some chairs. Depending on the time of year you can help me harvest the fruit from the orchard and make tasty things with it. Also maybe give me a hand in putting new foto's and information on my websites or help me sow some pillow covers. I am therefore looking for people who are handy (know about gardening, sowing machines or computers and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Who either have knowledge of gardening and or painting.
Helpen met de tuin, onkruid weghalen, hulp in en om het huis zoals stoelen schuren en verven en kussenhoezen naaien. Als je het leuk vindt kan je me helpen bij mijn workshops en andere dingen die ik soms organiseer. Ook wil ik meer informatie hierover op mijn websites plaatsen en ook daar kan ik hulp gebruiken. Afhankelijk van de tijd van het jaar mag je me helpen het fruit uit de boomgaard te oogsten en er lekkere dingen mee te maken. Ik ben daarom op zoek naar mensen die handig zijn en niet bang zijn om hun handen vuil te maken. Die ofwel kennis en ervaring hebben van tuinieren en of ervaring in het schilderen of werken met de naaimachine dan wel met computers..

Villa with additional apartment and swimming pool. 2000m2 of landscape which is largely garden. Partly orchard with delicious fruit.

In the afternoon and evening you can enjoy the sun, sea, mountains, swimming pool and the beautiful surroundings with its enormous cultural past and present. You can make beautiful walks here.
In de middag en avond kan je genieten van zon, zee, bergen, zwembad en de mooie omgeving met haar enorme culturele verleden en heden. Je kunt hier prachtige wandelingen maken.

Stayed 3 month and had a great time.
