Hola✨
We’re looking for someone easygoing to help out with our kids and a bit in the garden.
The deal:
• About 3/4 hours a day, 5 days/week
• Half the time with the kids, half doing some light garden stuff
• Main time with the kids is 16:30 – 19:30
With the kids, it’s mostly:
• Playing and hanging out
• Heating up food and putting it on the table
• Helping them tidy their room
• Very occasionally picking them up from school
Nothing too intense, just being present, helpful, and good with kids 🌱

We live between the mountains and the ocean in a cosy finca that includes our house and around 5000 meters of land in a very beautiful part of Tenerife, on which we have an ecological garden, a chicken coop, some camper vans and caravans, and a workshop. We are surrounded by nature, real Canarian agriculture, fruit trees (avocados, mangos, papayas, bananas, oranges and so on), 180 degrees panoramic views of the ocean (10 minute walk + 6 minutes by bus to the nearest beach) and amazing volcanic mountains.

Disponemos de una casa con unos 5000 metros de terreno, en la cual tenemos un huerto ecológico, gallinero, furgonetas camperizadas , caravanas ,las cuales alquilamos ,un taller.....estamos empezando a crear un espacio común y al mismo tiempo individual para nuestros futuros visitantes, vivimos rodeados de naturaleza , agricultura canaria , arboles frutales y con unas vistas al mar (10 minutos camindando +6 minutos en autobus) y a la montaña.

Welcome to our ecological finca in Güímar Valley! 🌿
Our finca is located between Güímar and Puertito de Güímar, where you’ll find shops, supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants — everything your heart might desire. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Güímar town, and our favorite beach village, Puertito, is a 40-minute walk downhill (or 10 + 6 minutes by bus).
🛏 Accommodation:
We have a shared room with three single beds, similar to a small hostel setup. We also offer tents or a camper van in our avocado garden for our volunteers.
🍳 Facilities:
There’s a small kitchen for volunteers, an outdoor shower with hot water and a toilet nearby. We provide fruit and veggies from our garden.
☀️ Around the finca:
The property is spacious, with two rooftops perfect for yoga, reading, or simply enjoying the sun.
🚌 Getting around:
The nearest bus stop is just 800 meters away and connects you to most places on the island. And if someone from the finca is heading out, you’re always welcome to join for a ride!
What else ...
You are welcome to enjoy all our common areas on the farm, watch movies on our projector, do yoga on our beautiful roof. Some of the world's best surfing locations are within 30 minutes drive. But, most importantly, we are very open-hearted people and we will be happy to share our daily life with you.
The volunteers often group up together to rent a car or go to the beach. There are so many things to do on this island that you can be busy every day enjoying something new. We have camper vans that we rent out and, if they are available, you are welcome to rent them at a very special price to travel around the island and camp anywhere you want under the stars.
Pueden disfrutar de nuestras zona comunes en la finca , pudiendo tocar música , pueden ver películas o cualquier cosa en nuestro proyector , usar el equipo de música , realizar cualquier deporte, yoga. Puedes alquilar tablas de surf. Somos personas abiertas, nos gustaría ir a la playa todos juntos. Hay muchísimas cosas que hacer en esta isla y estamos dispuestos a enseñarlas a la gente que venga aquí , poder seguir descubriendo nuevos lugares.
Ofrecemos buenos descuentos para poder alquilar cualquiera de nuestras furgonetas con las que pueden viajar por la isla y acampar en cualquier lugar
