Description
A beautiful, peaceful place in nature!
We are a small communty project, conscious, ecological, self-managed, and anti-capitalist community project. We have 2 hectares of land in the mountains of Arbúcies. We would like this place to one day become a small eco-village of sustainable living based on sociocracy. But we still have a long way to go; we are just starting out, and for now, there are only 3 of us and a blank space where you can create. We are not a business. We are a small community, and we would like more people to come and live with us.
Our main reason for hosting is cultural exchange. Years ago, we ourselves lived traveling, discovering new places and meeting wonderful people who taught us about the customs of their countries. Now that we've put down roots here, we would love to host you and show you this wonderful country. And we hope to continue learning from living with those who wish to visit us.
Right now, we are renovating the main house and creating new eco-friendly spaces so that more people can come and live and share in our community in the future. We have a project to create a large garden for the self-sufficiency of the entire community, but we haven't been able to start it yet due to a lack of resources.
What can you learn with us? The peaceful life of the countryside, joyful coexistence, and above all, respect. We are individually dedicated to the world of holistic therapies and can share our knowledge. We love music, singing, and dancing.
Lur, one of the founders, backpacked for years, then decided to become a single mother and lived in the mountains, developing many self-sufficiency skills. She learned carpentry, electricity, and mechanics... while homeschooling. Later, she studied Nonviolent Communication and Group Facilitation in Sociocracy.
You can learn many skills from her.
You'll love spending a few days with us and learning to live in the countryside. We love living in a loving, respectful, and joyful atmosphere! Getting to know each other and having a cultural exchange with the diverse life experiences that everyone has is wonderful; we will all learn so much. We can show you the village or introduce you to other alternative living communities nearby.
We propose an exchange of 15 hours of weekly help in exchange for accommodation only. We don't provide food as our finances are currently very tight. You can arrange the hours however you like: 3 hours a day for 5 days, 5 hours a day for 3 days, etc.
We live outside the town center, in the countryside. You'll need transportation to get down to the village; we can lend you a bicycle.

Precioso lugar tranquilo en la naturaleza!
Somos un Pequeño Proyecto de Comunidad Consciente, Ecológica, Autogestionada y Anticapitalista. Con 2 hectáreas de terreno en las montañas de Arbúcies. Nos gustaría que algún día este lugar se convirtiera en una pequeña eco-aldea de vida sostenible en Sociocrácia. Pero aun nos queda mucho camino, estamos empezando y de momento solo somos 3 personas y un espacio en blanco donde poder crear. No somos un negocio. Somos una pequeña unidad de convivencia y nos gustaría que mas personas pudieran venir a vivir con nosotras.
Nuestro principal motivo para ser anfitrionas es el intercambio cultural, Hace años nosotras mismas vivimos viajando, conociendo nuevos lugares y personas maravillosas que nos enseñaron las costumbres de sus países. Ahora que echamos raíces en estas tierras, nos gastaría ser anfitrionas y ser nosotras las que os enseñemos este maravilloso país. Y poder seguir aprendiendo de la convivencia con las personas que queráis visitarnos.
En estos momentos estamos adecuando la casa principal y creando nuevos espacios de eco-construcción para que puedan venir a vivir y a compartir en nuestra comunidad mas personas en un futuro. Tenemos proyecto de crear un gran huerto para la autosuficiencia de toda la comunidad, pero aun no lo hemos podido iniciar por falta de recursos.
¿Qué podrás aprender con nosotras? La vida tranquila del campo, la convivencia alegre y sobre todo respetuosa. Nosotras a nivel individual nos dedicamos al mundo de las terapias holísticas y podemos compartir nuestros conocimientos. Nos encanta la música, cantar y danzar..
Lur, una de las fundadoras . Viajo de mochilera durante años, después decidió ser madre monoparental y vivió en la montaña desarrollando muchas habilidades de autosuficiencia. Aprendió carpintería, electricidad, mecánica, al mismo tiempo que hacia educación libre en casa. Después estudio "Comunicación No Violenta" y "Facilitadora de Grupos en Sociocrácia".
Con ella podrás aprender muchas habilidades.
Os encantara pasar unos días con nosotras y aprender a vivir en el campo.
Nos encanta vivir con muy buen ambiente amoroso, respetuoso y alegre!!! Poder conocernos y hacer Intercambio cultural con las diversas experiencias de vida que cada persona tiene, todas aprenderemos muchísimo. Podemos enseñaros el pueblo o presentaros a otras comunidades de vidas alternativas que hay cerca de aquí.

Vivimos fuera del núcleo urbano, en el campo. Y es necesario tener transporte para bajar al pueblo, podemos prestarte una bicicleta.

Accommodation

In your free time, you can stroll through our charming little town of Arbúcies. Discover its wonderful corners, art museum, and traditions... Explore the surrounding villages and their diverse architecture, from medieval to Romanesque...
Or, if you prefer big cities, Barcelona and Girona are just an hour away. We also have the beach 30 minutes away. Enjoy swimming in rivers and small pools... rock climbing... mountain biking... horseback riding... and many other activities.
One condition for your stay with us is that you refrain from using drugs, alcohol, marijuana, or other psychoactive substances. We prefer to socialize in person, without substances that might impair our interactions.

En tu tiempo libre puedes pasear por nuestro lindo y pequeño pueblo, Arbucies. Descubrir sus maravillosos rincones, museo de arte y tradiciones...Conocer los pueblos de alrededor y sus diferentes arquitecturas, medieval, románico ...
O si te gusta las grandes ciudades a una hora esta Barcelona o Girona. También tenemos la playa a 30 minutos.
Bañarse en ríos y pequeñas pozas... escalada.. bbt.. paseos en caballo.. Y un montón de actividades.
Una condición para vivir los días que estéis en nuestro hogar, es no tomar drogas, alcohol, marihuana u otros psicotrópicos. Nos gusta relacionarnos en presencia sin sustancias que alteren nuestras relaciones.

Hay buena conexión a internet por fibra. Disponemos de una habitación individual dentro de la casa y una caravana totalmente independiente. También hay sitio para aparcar camper. There is a good fiber optic internet connection. We have a single room inside the house and a completely separate caravan. There is also space to park a campervan.
