  Description

  We are looking for people who can help us with our project. We have a farmhouse in a small hamlet in the Apennines in the north of Italy. We live as sustainably as possible and almost energy neutral. The house is located at 1000 meters, halfway up Monte Penna and along the Natural Park dell'Aveto. Endless beautiful walks, tranquility, pure nature. We are working on the outside area, we are creating a piece of garden on our meadow, there is a swimming pool and a vegetable garden. An Oasis in the Wilderness. But there is always something to do.. For common jobs and odd jobs, we hope to find one or two people who can help us. Of course at room and board and with enough free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings! Besides walking, swimming, sauna and campfire you can also make music on piano, guitar and handpan. Looking for "Porcini" if the time is right and connect with the lovely Italian family next door. And if you want I can teach you Italian and/or playing the guitar. My friend Niek has a spacious workshop with good tools to work with wood.
  
  Wij zoeken mensen die ons kunnen helpen met ons project. We hebben een boerderij in een klein gehuchtje in de Appenijnen in het Noorden van Italië. We leven zo duurzaam mogelijk en bijna energie neutraal. Het huis ligt op 1000 meter, halverwege de Monte Penna en langs het Natuurpark dell'Aveto. Eindeloos mooi wandelen, rust, pure natuur. We werken nu aan het buitengebied, op ons weiland creëren we een stuk tuin, er is een zwembadje en een moestuin. Een oase in de wildernis . En er is altijd iets te doen... Voor voorkomende klussen en klusjes hopen we één of twee personen te vinden die ons kunnen helpen. Uiteraard tegen kost en inwoning en met genoeg vrije tijd om de schitterende omgeving te genieten! Naast wandelen , zwemmen, sauna en kampvuur kun je ook muziek maken op piano, gitaar en handpan. En als je wilt leer ik je wat Italiaans en/of gitaar spelen. Vriend Niek heeft een ruime werkplaats met goed gereedschap om met hout te kunnen werken. Je kunt schilderen met acrylverf of leuk contact maken met onze lieve Italiaanse buren.

  helping with wood, working in nature with plants, collecting and processing what grows and blooms, Italian cooking, Italian language, music (piano/guitar/handpan) and experiencing the immensely green nature through which we reconnect with nature and ourselves . Contact with the very friendly local population and their habits and customs.

Contact met de uiterst vriendelijke plaatselijke bevolking en hun gewoontes en gebruiken.

  We are about to finish our plan to make our place a comfortable stay for people who look for the middle of our small paradise in big nature. But there is always something to do and it is probably never finished.. ;)

  I am a schoolteacher, my native language is Dutch. I do have experience teaching Italian and I like to teach you some of this beautiful language. We live close to our very welcoming nice Italian neighbours.

  Depends if we have guests;
  We have a big tent , 2 small tents, a room with bathroom and 2 small rooms in the house.

  What else ...

  If you come by public transport you can take the train to Borgo Val di Taro, then the bus to Bedonia and we will pick you up. We and our neighbours regularly go to the civilized world, so you can ride along. With your own car you can go to the coast on days off (5 Terre) to picturesque villages with nice markets and visit castles or cities such as Lucca, Parma, Piacenza, Genoa. It is good to know that you do have internet with us, but there is no GSM coverage. The tent and surroundings are a complete "white spot", then you are really off the radar. Also nice?
  
  Als je met openbaar vervoer komt kun je met de trein naar Borgo Val di Taro, dan met de bus naar Bedonia en dan halen wij je op. Wij en onze buren gaan regelmatig naar de bewoonde wereld, dan kun je meerijden. Met eigen auto kun je op vrije dagen naar de kust, (5 Terre) naar pittoreske dorpjes met leuke markten en kastelen bezoeken of steden als Lucca, Parma, Piacenza, Genua. Goed te weten is dat je bij ons wél internet hebt maar er is géén GSM bereik. De tent en omgeving is een volledige "white spot", dan ben je écht van de radar. Ook wel eens fijn? Wifi in en om het huis is goed.
